someday (part two)

School was hell for Bill, so he knew that he wouldn't be coming for the next two days so he had a few days to recover slightly.

You walked into the building, your converse hitting the tiles softly as you padded to your locker where you could see Richie Tozier was already standing at.

When you got to where your locker was, you began to open it.

"How's Bill doing?" Richie asked you.

You sighed, reaching in your now open locker to pick up some of the books you needed. "He's doing okay, still taking it like a huge hit though. Can you blame him?"

Richie shook his head, readjusting his glasses as you sighed once more.

"How are you doing?" Richie asked this time.

You tried to hold the tears back- you really did- but you felt so broken inside too.

You began to start crying right there, in the school hallway, quietly enough for only Richie to hear it.

You didn't want Bowers coming after you.

"Hey, hey." Richie said, grabbing your arm and pulling you into a hug.

"I just feel so broken for not only Georgie but for Bill. We've been through a lot in two years but not anything as heartbreaking as this."

Richie nodded as the bell rang, making you let go of him as you wiped your eyes with the sleeve of your long sleeved shirt.

"I'll see you after school, ____." Richie told you before walking off towards class.

You shortly followed.

-
At lunch, you sat at the table with a frown on your face, the seat beside you empty- where Bill usually sat and rested his hand on yours.

You picked at your food, sometimes staring and sometimes jabbing at it with a fork but everyone let you do whatever you wanted too.

Beverly piped up the first conversation.

"So, I heard Bowers is going out of town for a few weeks."

Ben raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Beverly took a bite of her salad. "I'm not sure, but thank hell he is. I can't deal with that little shit anymore."

Stan nodded. "It's better for all of us."

Eddie sighed. "What about his gang though?"

Beverly picked up her water bottle before speaking. "Without Bowers, they're usually more scared to do anything." With that, she took a sip of her water before setting it back down again.

You suddenly laid your head down on the table, your heart suddenly feeling so under pressure that it hurt to even slouch over.

You could hear your friends whispering.

"Is she okay?" Ben asked. "What is she so upset about?"

Richie piped up. "God, Ben. I know you're new to the group and all- but you aren't that new to town to know that Bill Denbrough's little brother, Georgie, died."

Ben shrugged. "What does that have to do with her?"

Beverly sighed heavily. "Bill and _____ have been dating for two, almost three, years now."

Ben nodded. "Oh."

Beverly took another bite of her food. "Look, it's fine not to know that but I mean, she's very sensitive and vulnerable right now."

Ben nodded, looking over at the top of your head while you laid on the table- tears running down your cheeks.

-
After school wasn't much easier for you.

You didn't want to go visit Bill just yet because you wanted time for him to grieve alone, and you needed some time too, but you didn't want to go home.

"Hey, ____. You wanna come with us to the Quarry?" Eddie asked you gently while you stood at your locker, putting away some stuff.

It might take your mind off of everything.

"Sure." You answered as you shut your locker, following Eddie out to where all your friends were.

"She's a go." Eddie told them as they all sent you soft smiles- hoping for one out of you but to no avail.

You climbed on top of your bike and began riding there with them- Ben thinking of a plan the entire way there.

-
You sat on the rock, staring out at your friends who were laughing while you looked sad and depressed but you were grieving.

He might not have been your little brother but he felt like one that you never had.

"Hey, ____." You heard someone say.

"Hey." You muttered.

Ben took a seat next to you.

"How you doing?" He asked politely.

You looked down towards the rock. "I'm just heartbroken right now. For not only Bill but for Georgie. I just feel so- so

You continued to stare at the ground as Ben inched closer to you.

"You know, we're all here for you." He said.

You nodded. "I know, I just miss my Bill."

Ben inched a little closer to you.

"I know it's hard, ____, but you're strong. You're going to get through this- with or without Bill. You have your friends."

You sighed. "I know but-"

You felt his lips suddenly kissing you, starting on your cheek and moving slowly towards your lips.

You shoved him off of you- a confused and hurt look in your eyes.

"Was that your plan all along! To talk to me, to get me more vulnerable than I already am, and hit on me? I have a boyfriend!" You told him, standing up and making all your friends turn towards you.

You shook your head- running off from the Quarry as you left Ben hurt.

However, he did it first.
