Prof. Romanight's POV:

The snappy smell of sorrow met the Intel Department as soon as I entered it. I delved into my tablet, searching and finding the things I did before. I found nothing, even the previous files were still gone. The files weren't been retrieved since the Legions counseled about it. I thought that today might work out, yet I was still wrong, but then again, I was at luck.

I kept certain files inside my room at the capsuled houses. I could perhaps insert those files inside the mainframe of the computers and retrieve some of the central records for the cure.

As I entered the Intel department I could see that my co-Tinkers were busy, as the usual. I looked at my tablet and saw that it was past noon, and my shift was almost done.

"Professor Romanight!" I was taken aback when someone called my name. It was Crypt. Montgomery. I'm glad that she's doing well despite from the weeks she was confined inside the treatment centers but she returned with a sorrowful heart.

"How are you doing?" I asked. She smiled tersely and turned into a soft frown. I know what she's feeling and I felt how it was.

"I know, Professor Koltz was a one of the eminent Tinkers we have, and I felt sorry about her sudden death." I consoled her. I could see her tears dripping from her face. I kept myself strong, in spite the she was also my friend, I still need to keep myself plain. Work will still come first anyways.

"It's just..." She paused as she supped the tears flowing from her face. "She was still young... How c-could s-someone do this t-to her?" She stuttered as she kept on crying.

She cried when she needed, and it was time for her to let it all out. I wrapped her in my arms as she continued. She's between the stage of trauma and guilt. Lacking the confidence of winning over her emotions that governed her feelings. I peeked at my watch and saw that it was time. I left Crypt. Montgomery inside the Intel department in lieu of rushing towards my abode.

I never intended to do so, yet I was rushing to find that file to retrieve those deleted files.

I made my way back to my house and as I entered it, I started searching. Even though my house was small, I had a hard time finding it. It was just a microchip, for the reason to make me find it for an hour.

Finally, after delving into my stuff, I found the chip. I got so excited that made me rush to the next capsule beside me, Cryptographer Ahndrea's capsule.

The doorbell ranged once, Ahndrea's face showed up.

"What may I do for you professor?" She asked. I entered her capsule immediately and sat down to one of her sofas. She looked surprised.

"Excuse me--"

"Hand me your laptop." I cut through her surprised response. "Hurry!" I added.

She grabbed her laptop from her room and handed it over to me.

I inserted the chip into it and there the computer system functioned on its own.

"Uh, what do you think you're doing?" She asked calmly, but the sense of worry was at the tone of her voice.

"Hacking your laptop." I scared her a bit there though.
