"Hurry up! I'm dying for some breakfast!" Tomo-chan said as she grabbed Haruka's hand and quickly dragged her out of our shared dorm room, myself holding the open door and closing it behind ourselves. I couldn't help but laugh as Haruka looked back to me for some sort of help. Tomo-chan clearly likes her more than myself and I'm perfectly alright with that. She can have that fiery burgundy haired girl all to herself.~ I got my hands full with a red head of my own.

Following closely behind my roommates, I readjusted the collar to my uniform some. The last thing I want is to look unprofessional on our first official day of classes. I'm not only making a reputation for myself by studying here, but I'm also in charge of making sure I don't ruin the Kotobuki name. I don't want for me to do something so dumb that it negatively impacts Reiji's career. As long as I don't cause trouble here, I should be all good.

Students spared me fleeting glances before the whispering broke out once more, not nearly as hushed as it was when I was walking with Masato yesterday morning. I guess he was intimidating enough to keep their suspicions on the quieter side of the spectrum. Thankfully Haruka and Tomo-chan are too busy laughing with one another to notice the death glares being shot directly into the back of my head.

"Yo! Wait up you three!"

A smile danced across my lips as I stopped and glanced over my shoulder towards the all too chipper voice. "Otoya, maybe you should learn to be faster in the mornings so you won't have to run to catch up to us." I shot back playfully just as the red head managed to make it to where Haruka, Tomo-chan, and myself are.

"Not my fault I didn't hear my alarm." He mumbled dejectedly.

Giggling, I patted his back before continuing on down the hallway. "Well, you're awake now and that's good enough for me. Now c'mon, breakfast isn't going to eat itself."

Otoya hurried to match my steps, my roommates once again off in their own little world as they walk a few feet ahead of us. "Those two are really getting along well aren't they?" He asked, eyes flicking to where Tomo-chan and Haruka are still holding hands, their fingers interlaced and everything.

I couldn't help but laugh. "They're cute together and it's not like I mind. We're best friends after all so it's only natural that those two gravitate towards one another like magnets."

For a mere moment, I could have sworn that I saw Otoya's smile falter just ever so slightly. Though it must of been my imagination since he started laughing. "Magnets? I guess." He said with a shake of his head. "What's for breakfast here anyways? It's not like we can exactly get your mom to cook us stuff anymore." He said, changing the subject with ease.

I thought for a moment before shrugging. "Not sure. Whatever it is it should be good though. Reiji said that the food here is more than edible so I think we'll survive."

The red head hummed. "That's great for my stomach."

"You'll eat anything." I pointed out with a laugh of my own, the stares and glares of the students around us no longer bothering myself nearly as much as they were minutes ago.

"True." Otoya chuckled. "But nothing beats your mom's cooking."

I nodded in agreement. "There's not a doubt in my mind that mom's cooking is the best cooking."

Otoya and I grinned at each other as we neared the lunch room, Tomo-chan still holding Haruka's hand as they make straight for one of the shorter lines.
