"So let me get this straight" Michael said taking out a fresh tray of brownies out of the oven

Jeremy smirked at him wiping off the mess of flour and eggs on the counter "You're not?"

Michael rolled his eyes playfully and punched his boyfriend's shoulder "No you dumbass, I mean you invited Christine over because~"

Jeremy sighed "I promised her a movie night two weeks ago but I had to cancel last minute so I'm making up for it!"

"With a brownie making videogame session?" Michael said tying up his rainbow apron (Jeremy had one too in the bi flag colours) behind his back

"It'll be find Micha"

Suddenly the doorbell rang. Both boys looked at each other instinctively, neither of them were wearing a shirt, but when the pounding on the door started they both decided to go answer.

"Hello!" was the first thing Christine said as Jeremy opened the door. She stood with both her feet together in a nearly perfect position, a wide smile on her face. "My name is Elder Price! And I would like to share with you the most amazing book!"

"Hey Christine!" Jeremy exclaimed

Christine's eyes widened ever so slightly upon seeing the pair in matching pride aprons and pac-man shorts but made no comment. She waved at Michael who smirked and flashed her a finger gun.

"You're just in time to get brownies" Michael said as Christine made her way inside, Jeremy closing the door behind them

"Brownies?" Christine asked arching an eyebrow as she walked into the kitchen

"You two...bake on the weekends?" she said skeptically

"Yeah, that and play videogames till three in the morning" Jeremy said shrugging

"And prank call Pizza Hut and the 7/11 " Michael said munching on a brownie

Christine's eyes sparkled when she realized what the filipino was eating, Jeremy's eyes widened with slight worry. Michael noticed Christine staring and smirked

"Want one? Freshly baked"he singsonged holding a kitchen knife

"Don't mind if I do!" Christine exclaimed grabbing the knife from his hand and cutting herself a huge piece of brownie and setting it on a napkin. She took a small piece and popped it in her mouth, munching happily at the chocolatey treat.

"Sooo~videogames, huh?" she asked with her mouth full

"Retrogames, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda, Apocalypse of the Damned-"Jeremy began

"Apocalypse of the Damned? Never heard of it"

Both boys froze and stared at each other, a look of mischief spreading on their faces. "You have GOT to play it!" Michael shouted grabbing Christine's hand and leading her towards his basement

"Yeah! It's only the best up to four person shooter game ever!" Jeremy added following them down.

Michael's basement was like a second home to Jeremy but to Christine it was a whole new world. The room was painted dark red and lit up with fairy lights. The walls were covered in posters for video games and rockstars she'd never heard about. A guitar, a ukulele, and a drum set were pushed to a corner. A pac-man ghost lamp provided light on a desk covered with plants and strewn around were various other objects.

Two large bean bags, one blue and the other red were in front of a flat screen tv connected to a console system and an overflowing cabinet with video-games. With a running start Jeremy jumped and flopped himself onto the blue beanbag. Michael laughed and threw himself onto the red one.
