It is a nice and sunny day in Musutafu, Japan. Inko Midoriya is currently driving down the street to a friend's house with her son in the car. In the right seat is a bag of goodies she bought from the store.

"You're just going to love the new friend I made, Izuku. She has a kid that's your age that I think you'll get along with just fine!" She smiles at the thought of her son making a new friend. Izuku, on the other hand, is not so happy. He's more worried about this new kid his mom is telling him about.

'What if they're just like Kacchan and all the other bullies at school? That means we'll never get along.' Izuku clutches his All Might plushie at the sound of his heart thumping.

"Here we are!" She chirps, making a turn. It was a nice white, beige, and brown modern house with some brick patterns lining the roof and some areas of the house outside. "What a nice house!" She pulls up in the driveway. She gets out of the car and slams the door shut. She opens the car door to Izuku's seat, unbuckling his seatbelt.

She picks the boy up and uses her right arm to slam the door. Now completely holding her child, she walks up to the doorstep of her friend's house. She rings the doorbell, letting them know that they're here. Inko feels her son trembling and gently places a hand on his head to calm him down.

"It's okay, Izuku. Everything's going to be fine."

The door to the house creaks open, revealing her friend. It's a beautiful woman with long blond hair and blue eyes. Her outfit is sexy and elegant. Everything about this woman radiates maturity.

"It's nice to see you again, Inko." The blonde woman smiles at her.

"You look lovely as always, Hilda." Inko smiled.

Hilda giggled, "thank you. And who is this little guy?"

Izuku blushes due to shyness and buries his head in his mother's neck. "This is my son, Midoriya Izuku. He's a little shy, but when he opens up, he's a nice kid."

"Got you." She turns her blue eyes onto the green-haired boy and politely smiles, "nice to meet you, Midoriya-kun. I'm Kusanagi Hilda. Would you like to meet my daughter?" He quietly nods, albeit a little reluctantly. "Great! I'll go and call her down. You guys just make yourselves comfortable." Hilda lets them into her house.

"This is a nice living room!" Inko marveled, setting her son down

"This is a nice living room!" Inko marveled, setting her son down.

"Hehehe. Thank you. A relative of mine helped me with buying furniture." She turns her gaze upstairs and shouts, "(Y/n)-chan, there's someone I want you to meet! Come on down!"

This made Izuku tremble a little bit. As he hears footsteps coming down the stairs, he's just praying, 'Please be nice, please be nice, please be nice!'

A tiny girl with (h/c) pigtails and (e/c) and wearing a cute school uniform comes down and stands in front of Hilda. "What is it, momma? And who are these people?"

"Dear, this is the friend I was telling you about. Say hello to them. This is Midoriya Inko and her son, Midoriya Izuku." Her mother introduced her.

"Okay!" (Y/n) turns to face the guests and formally bows, "hello there! My name is Kusanagi (Y/n). It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"My, what a polite young girl you are!" Inko smiled.

"Oh, thank you!" She bows again.

"(Y/n) sweetie." Hilda smiles at her daughter. "Why don't you take Midoriya upstairs to your room or to the library? I'll be back down with refreshments."

"Okay, momma!" She runs over to Midoriya and takes his hand. "Come on, Midoriya-san! Let's go to the library!"

"W-Wait—!" She eagerly drags him downstairs, ignoring his wails.

"(Y/n)-chan, slow down a little bit!" Hilda yelled out to her, but she was too far gone to hear. She sighs. "That girl. Ever since I introduced her to magecraft she spends most of her time locked up in the library studying."

Inko looks over at her curiously and asked, "Magecraft?"

"We can have this discussion over tea. I want to tell you more about myself." She smiled.

As (Y/n) is taking her new friend down to her favorite area, he stutters out, "W-Wait! W-W-Where are you taking me?!"

She glances back at him with a grin and shouts, "I'm taking you to the basement, silly! That's where the library is!"

They arrived at the cellar a few moments later. (Y/n) opens the door and heads in with Izuku as the door loudly shuts behind them. The room is very spacious, with white wallpaper and the flooring covered up by a large beige rug. Bookcases are lined up against each other, filled with all sorts of books. In the middle is a medium-sized wooden table.

Two brown sofas are placed across from the table with pillows on top of them. And not too far from a bookcase is a green reading chair with pillows sitting on top.

"Tada!" The girl happily presented. "Our beautiful library! What do you think?"

"I-It's v-very beautiful." He lowly mumbled, twiddling his thumbs.

"When I don't have school, this is where I come to spend most of the day. But momma usually drags me out to get some sunshine." (Y/n) pouted. He didn't respond, only nodding to what she is saying.

"Oh, let me show you my favorite books to read, Izuku!"

They spend two hours reading, or more accurately, two hours of (Y/n) showing her new friend books on mages and magecraft, introducing him to her world.

"Wow! There are so many different types just like quirks!" Izuku marveled.

She giggles and says, "I know, right?!"

He turns to her with a smile and asks, "So what type of magecraft do you have?"

When asked this question, the girl stopped smiling and sadly looked down. "I-I d-don't have any."

"You don't?!"

She shakes her head no and explains, "Well, I do, it's just that they're weak that I'm unable to perform any magecraft. It means I'm the lowest of the low in the mage world. I don't even have a quirk, so I can't become a hero. I'm just an average joe."

Izuku could only gulp as he watched her trying to hold in her tears. She's just like him, but it seems worse for her because not only is she quirkless, but she was born with inferior magic circuits. He learned at a young age that not everyone is equal. But even so... that still won't stop him!

"(Y/n)-chan?"

"Hm?" She sniffles, looking at him. She becomes shocked at seeing his grin.

"Let's become heroes together, okay?! We can be heroes, even if without a quirk, so let's aim for that future!" He holds his hand out for her to take.

Moved by his words, (Y/n) wipes her tears away and musters up a smile of her own, "o-okay!" She takes his hand.
