Chapter 3:"Black Sails"

Leah's P.O.V.

When we get home I go straight to the kitchen to check for leftover waffles.

Hey don't judge me!

When I opened the fridge I saw two waffles just waiting for me to eat them. So I did.

I go with my waffles and plop down on the couch turning on the TV to watch Black Sails. Lots of people don't like it, but I love it.

There's so much action and the most important part, the actors are hot.

You can't argue with me.

As I sit and watch hot guys fighting, I hear the front door open. I turn around and see Emma and Alex.

"Hey guys." I say confused.

"Oh, hey Leeloo." Al greets back.

I can see Emma is a very shy girl. I understand that.

I get up and walk to them. My hand shoots out toward Emma.

"Hey, I'm Leah." I greet with a huge smile.

"Um ... hi, I'm Emma." Emma nervously shakes my hand.

"I know."

Emma's eyebrows draw in and Alex's face turns red.

"Um ... " Emma was interrupted by Al.

"We're going upstairs!" He calls as they run upstairs.

"Okay, just use protection!"

I just love embarrassing Al.

I don't know what to do the rest of the day, so I invite Kyla and Jenny over. Jenny couldn't come because she has to go somewhere with her mom. Kyla shows after 5 minutes.

"Hi girl." She is very happy today.

"Hey, why you so happy today?" I ask suspiciously.

"What?! Can't I just be happy?" She starts to defend herself. I just stare at her.

Kyla signs, "Fine, I'll tell you. Sebs asked me on a date."

What?

"What? That's great! I'm so happy, but I have one thing to say." I declare.

Kyla says silent and I take it as a signal to continue. " If he hurts you I, Leah Anderson, will kill Sebastian Cooper with my own two hands." I stare at her seriously.

Kyla burst out laughing, "I know you will. And trust me Sebs does too. He knows you and Jen will kill him. But I really like him and I think he really likes me too." Kyla says biting her lip.

"He does." I reassure her.

We sit and watch Black Sails the rest of the day. That's another thing I love about Kyla she also shares my love for Black Sails. We also share a love for Billy Bones. Gosh, that man.

Kyla leaves around 8 pm. I go straight to bed. I am so tired.

Here comes another nightmare.

I woke up not in the best of moods. For a while now I haven't slept well, because I keep getting dreams. No nightmares. It's the same every night. Me just drowning. It's gotten better. Usually I would wake up screaming and panting. But for 2 weeks now I only got the nightmare. I drag myself out my bed to go take a shower.

As I Past Alex's room I hear whispering.

I guess Emma didn't leave last night.

Out of nowhere his door swings open and Emma comes out.
