The Bathtub

Francis's point of view
"I don't want you to leave." Mary said while laying her head on my chest as I stroked her hair. "Don't think of it as leaving, think about it has being separated for a little bit." I said "Francis," she sat up off of me and pulled the blanket over her. "It's not going to be a little while, it's going to be three months at least!" She said "Mary it's going to be all right, I will try to leave as soon as I can." I said "Francis you could get kidnapped or killed!" She said "Mary I won't, I will be fine and I will come back to you." I said "Francis you can't be sure of that." She cried, I wiped her tear then held her chin with my thumb and my index finger. "Hey, Why are you doubting my my fighting abilities?" I smiled "I'm just worried about you." She said "I promise I will be safe, nothing will happen." I said "Promise?" She asked "Promise, now I was going to wait until our wedding day was set but since I'm leaving I want to give you something." I said then got out of bed and went over to my nightstand. I got the little box out of my drawer and got back in bed. "What is it?" She smiled "It's something special." I kissed her cheek, she smiled then opened it up. She pulled out the necklace and smiled. "Mary and Francis." She smiled "I had it made before you came back." I smiled "it's so sweet, thank you darling." She smiled kissed me. "Now wear this until I get back and when I come back to you, which I will, you can give me my half back." I said "It's still a week before you leave, right?" She asked stroking my cheek. "Yes, but I am all yours till then." I smiled "Do want to go for a picnic?" She smiled "Of course I do." I smiled then we got ready, we went to the kitchens and grabbed a picnic basket then we walked to the gardens. "Now, I will play the part of the devoted wife and you play the part of the loving husband." She smiled. "Sounds fun." I smiled then kissed her. "Come sit." She led me over to a blanket. "What are we having for dinner today wife?" I smiled "Um let's see, grapes, grilled chicken, carrots, white wine, and macaroons for desert." She smiled "Sounds delicious." I said "Feed me." She giggled laying back on the blanket. "Well I am the loving husband." I smiled then grabbed grapes and put them in her mouth one my one. "All gone." I smiled "Really? I'm still hungry." She giggled then sat up. "Now feed me." I smiled laying back on the blanket. "Feed you?" She giggled "Yes, I'll have some chicken or some Mary. You choose." I smiled "I choose chicken." She giggled then put chicken in my mouth. "Oh my God ew." I said "What?" She asked "It tastes like fish." I said "Let me try." She grabbed it from me. "Eww." She spit it out. "I know it's gross." I said "We should just eat macaroons." She smiled "I agree." I smiled then got the macaroons out, mary laid her head on my lap. "Try the blue ones." Mary said holding it up to my mouth. "It's so good." I said "I know right." She said. "Your beautiful." I kissed her forehead. "Do you want to go to something fun?" She giggled "Of course I do." I smiled "Come on." She pulled me up off the ground. "Where are we going?" I smiled "Were going swimming." She giggled "Swimming? What if someone sees?" I asked "then we will just have go somewhere no one can see." She smiled "I like you Mary Stuart." I smiled "Your okay." She giggled then pulled her dress off and ran into the water. "Mary!" I laughed "Are you coming or are you just going to let me swim out here naked and unprotected?" She giggled "Fine I'm coming!" I laughed then took my clothes off and ran in the water. "Mary where are you?" I smiled, I felt something touch me foot and I kicked under the water. Mary came up laughing. "Why are you so scared?" She giggled "Because you grabbed my foot!" I laughed "Well suck it up!" She giggled "Oh my god your bleeding." I touched her nose. "Really? I can't feel it." She said "Yes, it's really flowing out." I said leading her out of water. "Quick get your clothes on." I said the we both got dressed. "Francis I just need to apply pressure to it, I'll be fine." She said "Mary I just want to make sure everything's all ready." I said "All right but let me try to stop it first." She said then grabbed a rag and held it to her nose. "See, it stopped." She said "Are you sure your fine?" I asked "Well other then the fact that I'm being abused by my fiancé and he gave me I bloody nose I'm fine." She said "Mary I'm so sorry." I said "Francis I'm just kidding, it's fine!" She smiled then kissed me. "Well now I'm all bloody." I smiled "My bad." She giggled then kissed me again. "Maybe I should go give you a bath to clean you up." I smiled "Or maybe you should get in with me." She smiled "Sounds very scandalous Ms.Stuart." I smiled "Well it was your idea Mr.Valois." She smiled "It was, so Lets go." I smiled "Don't let anyone see." She giggled as we ran into her room, I told the servants to get a bath ready and after ten minutes it was. "Don't let anyone in, not even the king or queen." I said "As you wish your grace." The guards said then we walked inside. "Since it's getting dark I minds well just sleep in here." She smiled "Yes that makes sense." I smiled then took my shirt off shirt and pants she took off her dress then got in the bath. "Come claim your wife Mr.Valois." She smirked "I claimed her multiple times last night and this morning." I smiled "My desires aren't fulfilled yet." She smiled "Well your husband will just have to solve that problem." I smiled then got in the bathtub and kissed her. We spent the rest of the night playing our husband and wife game until we eventually fell asleep in each other's arms
