Francis's point of view
Mary has been in labor for three days now. I feel awful. But I'm quite tired, I work and take care of our children all day then stay with Mary all night. But she and my children always come first. I don't know if I want a boy or girl more this time, I would be equally happy with either. I just can't wait to have another baby to love. I finished putting Madelyn and James to bed, they have been insisting they sleep on the chaises in our room for when the baby is born. Madelyn thinks she will be the mom and take care of he or she completely. Just like with her dolls. I kissed Madelyn's forehead then pulled the blankets further over James. I walked out of the room then went to Mary's birthing chamber. There were priests, cardinals, noble men and women, and midwifes everywhere. Mary was screaming bloody murder. "Mary." I went to her. "Francis it hurts so bad." She cried "I know baby, I'm so sorry. You just have to keep pushing." I said holding her hand, she laid her head back sobbing. "Is she crowning yet?" I asked "Barely." One of them said, Mary started screaming again. I held her hand and she squeezed it so hard. "Your doing great your grace, just keep pushing." She said "Come on Mary you got this." I said "Francis shut the hell up." She screamed, my motivational words probably aren't helping her. I heard crying after a few minutes, I looked up and the midwife was holding our baby. "Is it a boy or girl?" I smiled "The Valois have another baby girl." She smiled, I went over and took our baby from her. "Hi." I smiled, she had my bright blue eyes and blond curls. By that time I was crying. "Oh my god." Mary screamed "What is it?" I asked "I'm still having contractions." She yelled "That doesn't make sense." I said, one of the midwifes took the baby from me. I went back to Mary. "Your graces, it appears your having twins." She smiled "Twins?" Mary raised her eye brows. "Yes, you need to push more." She said "Mary, baby, were about to have another baby." I smiled "Yes we are." She smiled "You need to push." I smiled holding her hand, she nodded. She pushed and pushed for what felt like hours until it finally came out. "Boy or girl?" Mary asked panting "Boy." She smiled "Let me see my babies." Mary smiled, the midwifes handed our babies to her she held one which each hand. Our little boy had brown hair and dark brown eyes. "Hi." She smiled, she was crying too. "If everyone could leave us for the night that would be great." I said, everyone bowed and walked out. "I'll spend the night with Madelyn and James." Greer said "Thank you Greer." I smiled "Of course." She smiled then closed the door. "Their so perfect." She smiled "Yes they are." I smiled, I took our baby girl from her. "I think he looks like a Graham." She smiled "Graham?" I smiled "I've always loved that names, and not that it matters but it's also English which will look good for us." She giggled "I like that name." I smiled "Now what about our baby girl?" She smiled "Um, Annabel?" I smiled "I love that!" She smiled "You do?" I smiled "Yes." She giggled. "Now let's put them in their cribs and we can get some sleep." I smiled, I put Annabel in her crib then went and got graham so Mary didn't have to get up. I got back in bed and Mary cuddled with me. "Get some rest baby." I whispered, I looked down and she was already sleeping.
