The Herbs

Francis's point of view
I woke up to Mary snoring, she was lightly drooling on my chest. She must be very tired after last night. She's so adorable, I can't believe I can call her my wife. I'm the luckiest man in the whole world. I combed her messy hair gently with my hands then started stroking her hair. Then the sun started to peer threw the windows, I gently moved her head off my chest and went over to the window and shut the curtains. I would have done it last night but Mary likes to look that the stars at night. I went back over to our bed and got in. "Francy." She giggled as she tickled me. "I thought you would be asleep for hours more." I smiled "Nope, I'm to excited for our wedding tour." She smiled "Your excited to go from freezing to even more freezing?" I laughed "Well we can always stop to one of those nice vineyards in the hills on the way back." She smiled "Get drunk and have sex in a old barn?" I laughed "Absolutely not." She laughed "It was worth a try." I smiled "Why have sex with hay scratching my back and it smelling like farm animals when you can just have sex in a huge bed covered in fur blankets?" She laughed "Or naked next to a fire laying on a fur blanket." I said "Then Lets to that tonight." She smiled
"As much as I would Absolutely love to, we're  not going to get there tonight." I said "Ugh really? How long?" She asked "Maybe two or three days." I said "Wow, that's longer then my trip from convent." She said "Well we can always do things to pass the time." I smiled "Oh and what ideas do you have?" She smiled "Well I heard about these carriages in Austria, they are like a regular carriage but longer, and they have beds in them." I said "Beds?" She asked "Yes beds." I smiled "And did you get one?" She smiled "You know I did." I smiled then kissed her. "So Greer told me something yesterday." I said "What is it?" She asked "That you were very upset about Lola's behavior yesterday." I said "Do you my ladies tell you when ever I'm upset about something?" She smiled "They tell me when your very upset about something because they know I can help." I smiled "Did the tell you how Lola says she pregnant?" She asked "Yes, that." I said "Well I know she's not pregnant and I know you would never sleep with her or ever cheat on  me, but it's bothering me for some reason." She said "It's bothering you because Lola is a pathological liar." I said "Do you remember when we were 12 and you brought me to the gardens to try to kiss me but Lola tripped me so you slapped her?" She laughed "Technically I kissed you on your 11th birthday, I was hoping to full on make out with you." I smiled "Well you did french kiss me that day." She smiled "Oh I remember that very well." I smiled "I remember I didn't know what was going on because you had only ever touched my lips against yours for like two seconds and I didn't get why you were sticking you tongue in my mouth." She laughed "I didn't know what was going on either, I saw Bash making out with some girl and when I asked him about it he said I need to touch your feet and lick your face. I figured out half way through our walk, before I kissed you, he was messing with me." I laughed "Did he really tell you that?" She laughed "Yes, he was my role model so I would do anything he told me." I laughed "Well I remember the first time I saw you there was this, not to be mean, rather fat boy eating chocolate standing in front of you and I got scared I was going to have to kiss him and he was going to get his slobber all over me. Then you stepped out behind me and I though you were the most handsome six year old I had ever saw." She smiled "Well I was quite nervous too because Lola was standing in front of you and trying to take your crown so I thought she was you I thought she had an ugly face and crooked teeth." I laughed then my mother came in. "You two will not be that loud every night." She said "Good morning to you too." Mary said "Good Morning my children but seriously, I got no sleep last night." She said "Well your rid of us for two weeks." I smiled "Mary darling, I want you to take these herbs with you on your trip. If you and Francis are in the mood, I want you to rub this on his man parts this on your woman parts half an hour before you two are together. And after you need to put this on your stomach and lay absolutely still for two hours. And the next morning put this in your drink. And even if your not having inter course you need to drink a tea spoon of this every night." She said "You did all this to get pregnant?" Mary asked "For ten years." She said, Mary gave a worried look. "What my mother didn't mention is after she had me she had nine more children." I said "That's true Mary, and you may not have the same fertility problems as me." She said "Mother I don't think your doing much help, it might be better if you go." I said "I'm sorry Mary, I didn't mean to worry you, just make sure you take all the herbs and it will be okay." She said then walked out. "Didn't Cathrine have several miscarriages?" Mary asked "Yes, but if you do that's okay, we will keep trying. Well we will keep trying until it becomes unhealthy for you." I said "I am not taking those herbs." She said "You don't have to baby." I kissed her cheek. "I know I'll get pregnant eventually I just don't want to wait." She said "Have faith my love, everything happens when it's supposed to." I said stroking her hair.
