Mary's point of view
I miss him so much. I can't eat or sleep, I just constantly worry if he's okay. I just want him to come back to me. We have been writing to each other but because he's dealing with battle they are usually short. But they still meant a lot to me because he said how much he loves me and misses me and how he can't wait to hold me in his arms again. I can't wait for him to hold me again either. "Your majesty, lady Greer is requesting an audience with your grace." My pager said "Let her in please." I said "As you wish your grace." He said then Greer came in. "Hello." She smiled "Hello Greer." I smiled "Has Francis written you back yet?" She asked "Not yet, it should be coming in a day or two." I said "I'm sure it will come soon." She said "What is Lola up to?" I asked "Well she has been writing to Francis almost everyday but unlike with you he has yet to respond." She said "God I just need to wait until Francis and I are wed because then I will have the French army to help support Scotland and I don't need Lola's fathers army." I said "I will drag you and a priest to Calais if it gets lola gone." She laughed "Please Do." I laughed "Well I get how your feeling, I miss Leith too." She said "I'm sorry, I completely forgot about that, I'm being so selfish." I said "No your not Mary, you have every right to be upset." She said "Well Leith and Francis are friends, I'm sure there taking care of each other." I said "Yes I'm sure they are." She said "Can I ask you something? It's kind of personal." I said "Of course you can." She said "Have you and Leith spelt together?" I asked "Um, yes. Yes we have." She blushed "Well you know Francis and I have too, and I miss him so much. But I also miss being with him like that." I said "Well not that I'm saying Francis isn't good in bed, but Leith is very, very experienced. And whew do I miss that." She laughed "Well I'm not experienced either but whatever Francis does feels amazing." I laughed "Well aren't we scandalous." She laughed "Europe's favorite women." I laughed "Your grace a letter has arrived from you." My pager said. "From who?" I asked "Prince Francis, your grace." He said "Give me it." I ran over to him and took the letter, I knew it was rude but I wanted to see it. "This came with it too." He said holding out a box. "Greer can you grab that please?" I asked "Of course." She said then took the box from my pager. I opened up the letter.
Mary,
My love I miss you more than you could ever imagine. I can't wait until I can come back and hold you in my arms. I love you more than anything in the whole world. Your blanket does smell like you and it's also soft like your hair. The battle is going quite well, the French army has over whelmed the English forces from the south, we still haven't fully taken over Calais but it's looking good that we will be back in the next couple months. I want you to know Lola has been sending my letters, I haven't opened any of them I simply throw them in the fire. Once I get back I promise we will get married and you will secure the French army and you can send Lola back to Scotland. I think about you every minute of everyday. I usually wouldn't mind the battle field but all I want to do right now is lay in bed with you covered in fur blankets without a care in the world. I hope when I come back you won't be the only one waiting for me, by that I mean I hope your pregnant soon. Not only will it cause the wedding to be scheduled sooner but it will also be a miracle to have a baby with you. The only thing that would make me happier than seeing you would be hearing your pregnant with our child. I love you and I hope your safe. If Tomas is messing with you in any way please write to me and I will take care of it. I can't wait to see you again my love, please wait for me to come back. I promise I will come back a soon as possible. I also sent you a necklace I found at a local jeweler. I though like everything it would look absolutely beautiful on you. I hope you like it. I love you Mary Stuart, forever.
With all my love, Francis
He makes my heart melt. "Mary look at this." Greer pulled a diamond necklace out of the box. "It's beautiful." I said "Your a lucky girl." She smiled "Can you put it on me?" I asked "Yes." She said, I moved my hair and she put the necklace around my neck then closed the latched. "Thank you." I said "No problem, may I see the letter?" She asked "Of course." I handed it to her. "He is such a sweetheart!" She smiled "I know, I'm so lucky." I smiled "Well since everything is going good in Calais it sounds like he'll be home soon." She said "God I hope so, I want him back safe." I said "He's going to be fine, he's the dauphin so there will be extra guards around him." She said "Yes but you know Francis, he won't have all those formalities. He will fight like any other soldier." I said "Yes that's true." She said then Kenna came in. "Your grace I told her to wait." My pager said. "It's fine, Your dismissed." I said "Guess What Henry just told me." She said "Okay first off what are you doing with Henry?" I asked "He was shown interest in me as a mistress, don't worry I'm not into old men, but he was telling me Francis could be back in as soon as a month." She said "Oh my God! Really?" I asked "Yes really, Bash, who I am interested in, is riding to the camp tomorrow to see how it's going and report back." She said. Thank God, he's coming home soon.
