Francis's point of view
I miss her so much. I knew my heart would ache not being with her but it hurts more than I could have ever imagined. I miss waking up with her in my arms. The smell of her hair. Her smell in general. Her soft hands on my face. I miss her bright smile lighting up my day. I miss her infectious giggle. I miss her soft lips on mine. She's the only thing that keeps me going through this war. Whenever the fighting gets to me I just think of what I have to go home to. I can't to see her again. I just want to pick her up in my arms and never let her go. "What's on your mind?" Leith asked "Mary." I said "Don't worry, you'll be back to her in a couple months." He said "I don't want to wait a couple months, I love her Leith, so much. I don't ever want to leave her." I said "Francis I know you love her, but this is your duty as the dauphin." He said "I know." I rolled my eyes. "Hey, kill enough guys and you'll be back sooner." He laughed "I don't want to kill anyone, but I will if it gets me back to her." I said "Have you two, you know..?" He asked "That's none of your business." I laughed "No longer the virgin prince." He laughed "Oh shut up." I threw a piece of bread at him. "Hey hey, it's fine, I'm not the Virgin Leith." He laughed "Because you have practically slept with everyone at court." I laughed "My bad." He laughed then some prostitutes came in. "I'm going back to my tent." I said "There's no need for that, stay and have some fun." One of them said "We promise to make it worth your while." Another said "If you want you can bring both of us, or more back to your tent." She said "No, please get away from me." I said then walked out to my tent. I changed into night clothes then laid down. "Your grace" my pager said "Come in Robert." I said "You have a letter your grace." He said "Let me see it." I said "Well it's more of a package." He said then handed me the box. It must be from Mary. "Thank you, you can leave." I said then he walked out. I practically ripped the box open. At the top was a letter.
Dearest Francis,
Words can't describe how much I miss you. I miss feeling your warm hands on my cold body, I miss dancing with you, I miss waking up next to you, I miss your bright smile, I miss your ocean blue eyes, I miss you spoiling me with gifts and favors of your own. Most of all I miss your presence, I miss just sitting next to you and having conversations about the most random things then laughing at our selves after we talk. I hope your safe and I want you to know I love you more than you could ever know. Don't give up on me, on us. Remember all of our good times, all the good times we can still have. I don't want to be with out you any longer so you better hurry up all the violence and come back to me. I love and miss you so, so much and I will wait if it takes years for you to come back. Please stay safe for me, I don't want to lose you. I also miss you tickling me, calling me all your pet names, and most of all stealing your food. I love you and I can't wait for you do come back.
With all the love in my heart, Mary.
I opened the box and it had a fur blanket in it with a note
I know you always get cold at night and since I'm not there to cuddle with you and keep your warm I'm sending you my fur blanket with my perfume so you can make it smell like me.
Sweet Dreams, Mary
She's so sweet, that's here favorite blanket. I can't believe she sent into me, she sleeps with it every night so I'm just surprised. I can't wait to see her again. I love her so much.
