Chapter 31 Victory

(Annie's P. O. V)
I've visited and travelled around the world to find where they all went some were in England, America, Germany, Scotland, and just around the world. I am taking my last trip back to America to find a man named Armin Alert he is Eren's best friend and brother figure. So as I arrived I got in a cab and drove to his work he apparently is a cop in a station so I'll as him some questions. Once I arrived I enter and there was a police officer at the front desk.

How can I help you miss? He asked

I'm looking for Armin Alert. I say

He's at his desk. He said pointing me to Armin

Thank you. I say and walked to Armin's desk.

Armin didn't know I was there until he looked up from his book and stared at me.

Can I help you? He asked

Yes I am Anna Leo, I am a lawyer for a man named Eren Jeager you knew him in high school right. I say

Oh Eren why does he need a lawyer? Armin asked

Eren is in trouble and is accused of a murder that could sentence him to life or even death row in prision. I say

What? He said

So I've gone ti everyone in your friend group to try and help him, he said two men by the name of Burtholt and Reiner framed him. I say

I'll do anything to help him out but I've never talked to him in the past 3 years I've been really busy. Armin said

That doesn't matter I need to know how Eren acted in the time you've known him.

Alright. He said

Armin said his story and it seemed like they were really brothers he knew everything about Eren. It filled in a few gaps that was missing his was the more funny and kind Eren they knew who wouldn't kill anyone. I even had a part up my sleeve that will help them win the case. But for the fun of it when I wrapped up each case I asked them if they could take the stand during court. They all said yes they would so when I finished up my paper I went back to America and got the date moved to a closer date so he wouldn't miss his babies birthday. So when the day came I hid all of the friends from Eden and Mikasa. So when the court was talking about if I had any evidence I gladly stood up as Eren was beside me. I made eye contact with Reiner and Burtholt and I got infront of the jury.

I have 11 people who can testify that Eren Jeager is innocent to because he's a man who is convicted of murder but a man who is framed of being a murder. I would like to call Mikasa Jeager first to the stand. I say Mikasa got up on the stand and I asked her the exact same way but gave more detail on how Eren is a nice man and a loving father. I switched it up to where I asked about Eren's dark side was let out and all he would do is become a 5 year old on a tantrum. But most importantly is Mikasa made it sound like Eren is not a murder. I then called Armin and he did the same thing but with an change in his story about how Eren and him were brother figures. I then did the same thing as every other person before him. I asked the bold question "Do you think Eren Jeager killed this family"? I asked

No he refuses to watch an animal planet because he cries when the circle of life happens. Or even when something does die of natural causes he cries alot. He doesn't have a stomach as well for creating a murder. Armin said

How would you know that? I asked

We grew up in the country side so when we came across a dead animal on the field Eren would just throw up. Armin said

Thank you Mr. Alert. I say I looked to the Jury and pointed out how there should have been vomit near them if Eren honestly killed something. But then it was break time and Inwas going to being up my part. Reiner and Burtholt can either drop charges and run or sit it out and see the results.

I call a five minute brake. The judge said

I came up to his desk and asked for him to stay and the jury while everyone stepped out of the room. The doors closed and he looked at me and I took a breath before going on.

My name is Actually Annie Lionheart and I was capture by those two they did alot of things to me. You can check the blood test I ran them by someone else and it's a match but please. Reiner and Burtholt trapped me and came after me. So I changed my name for protection reasonsn that was given to be by the city. I say then just as I planed they automatically release Eren and they were taken some where else. So this was a long and slow process and this is consider a wonderful victory. Eren was released but he had to go one more day so he could collect his stuff. So I went outside and everyone was waiting and I smiled then looked at Armin.

Eren will be release by tomorrow afternoon. I say

Thank you so much! Armin said excited and he hugged Annie

I hugged him back and then let me go as everyone else gave me a hug and then thanked me.

How much do we owe you? Mikasa asked pulling out a check book

I thought for a while before saying "Nothing you owe me nothing". I said

But you won and did very well are you sure? She asked

This is as much as a victory to me as it is to you. I say

Well at least let us have you come over for dinner before you go. Mikasa said

Alright then. I said

It will be held at my house, I am as well moving back here. Armin announced

Wow when did you decide that? Jean asked

Just now. He replied

It was winter now so we started to head back before a winter storm would come and block us into the building.
