Chapter 39 Always on Your Side

(Armin's P. O. V)
I was making dinner and I was almost done with it, I really do hope that Annie and her parents really do go well. I thought I continue to set the table when I heard it began to rain outside. Shit I should have had her take the truck in this case I ran out into the rain and open the barn for her arrival. I then went back inside and made it all up for dinner it was now set and ready to go. I heard the front door open and I pulled out the Lizaniya and the home made garlic bread. I put the food on the plate and took it to the table I stopped when I heard little sniffs. I then went and saw Annie didn't move from the front door. I could tell she was sad and wet so I went over to her and gave her a hug. It took her a while but then she hugged me back and then just cried even harder onto me. I held her closer and then she began to talk/sob to me which was good.

T-They n-never looked for m-me. She sobbed out

It's because they are people who don't deserve you. I say

What did I do to t-them to m-make them h-hate me. She said

It's not your fault they are just people who have no idea what they're going to be missing out on. Which is the most kindest, open hearted, and beautiful girl. I say blushing at the last part.

How do I deserve such a great friend like you even I have to admit I was an ass at the begining. She said

I smiled and chuckled at her words. It's because I was persistent all the time and a little pushy. Not alot but just enough to become friends with you in the end. I say

Alright anyway dinner is on the table and it's going to get cold so let's eat. I say

We sat and ate dinner talking about the old times and even gotted to forget what happen that night. We were happy to talk about the old times and even open up to each other a bit more.

So what happen to your parents may I ask. Annie said

Well my mom gotted pregnant by some guy she met at a party and then when I was born she left me. My "father" was already out of the picture before I was even born so yeah. I say

Who's farm is this then? Annie asked

Oh it was an abandon one that I just made home. I say

WHAT! She exclaimed

I'm joking it's actually my grandparents on my mom's side they raised me and they have another farm in some other place. They left me to take care of this one and that's what I've been doing all this time. He said

Wow now thinking of it I don't believe I have any grandparents. Annie said

Aww that's okay you have me and the group to lean on any time. I say

I know and thank you for letting me stay here by the way. She said

Well you are paying for most of the bills so it's your part that is allowing you to stay here. He said

Wow so it's not from your heart is it was all a lie. She said dramatically

No it's as well remember I didn't know you changed your name to Anna. I said

True. She said

No I'm joking I've known even before you told me. I say

How! She said

Once I slipped up by calling you Annie and you replied to it just fine. I say

Wow your so smart then. She said

Yep so I am very kind to you. I say

We laughed and we moved on to desert which was a home made marbled cake of vanilla and chocolate flavor. The icing was of a melted chocolate chips on top of it. I brought it out to her and she clapped for me.

You've not only made dinner but you've as well made a desert. Annie said

Yep I'm amazing like that. I said

We'll see Mr.Amazing. She said teasingly

We each cut into the cake and took a bite it was delicious and then it became a race to finish the cake. Annie put down her plate and ran for the whole thing. NNOO! I yelled

Sucker! She said

I ran quickly following behind her and grabbed her by the waist pulling her close to me. She was laughing and I was as well laughing because she was cought. I picked her up and she still held onto the cake and I went to the kitchen and I took the cake away. I cut it in half and gave it to her and she was pouting. I laughed at her defeat and then while I was too busy laughing she threw my half at me. It hit me and then she was laughing so hard I tackled her and did the same thing to her. When we were done with are little food fight we just laughed at each other from are messes. I was so busy looking at her eye's they were so pretty and her smile I never want to see that go away. Soon she as well notice and stopped laughing but just smiled at me as well. I soon felt this gravity pulling me closer and closer to her. She did the same but eventually we both were inches away and I could feel her breath touch me. I could as well tell my breath could touch her. We were already so close I closed the gap between us and just like that we were kissing. I felt her melt into the kiss though which had made it more passionate and it deepen.
