TAYLOR (CHAPTER 51)
"Lila, you need to calm down." Muttering I grab the bridesmaid dress, hanging it on my door.
"How can I calm down? My wedding's in five hours! I can't calm down! Not now!" she yells, pacing around the room with the phone close her ear.
"Who are you calling now?"
"Mom! Duh!" I sigh, watching her pace around the room wearing her wedding dress. Lila literally woke me up at seven in the morning, because she wanted me to pick the wedding dress up with her. Sadly, and somehow, the dress doesn't fit.
Now, I'm not being rude or anything, but I laughed when I found out. We then returned back home, and Lila tried on the wedding dress yet she couldn't zip the back. So she got me to zip the back, and that didn't work either. So now, she's now panicking and crying, oh and she's calling mom. Yay...
"Okay, mom's coming in twenty minutes. Everything will be fine. Right?!" she asks me.
"Um... yeah, don't worry. Everything will be fine," I mumble the last words. And this, lady and gentlemen, is why I will never get married. Stay single kids. Stay single.
"Why does that sound like a lie?!"
"Because it is?"
"Taylor!"
"It's not my fault you got fat!"
"What?!"
"I mean--"
"Don't talk! You're making it worse," she cuts me off.
"I just mean that you might've gained a bit of weight Lila. It's normal for a bride since you're under lots of stress."
"Who said I'm under stress?" she says in an angry tone.
"Um, everyone?"
"Ugh! I'm fine!"
"Are you?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow.
"What do you think?!" she shouts at me. Holding back a laugh, I try to be serious at this moment, for Lila. I mean it's not my wedding, yet I know this is what my sister has wanted for a long time, so I guess I have to be serious about this. As I'm about to say something I hear the doorbell ring, which that means my mother's here. Lila runs to the door, the best she can without tripping on her wedding dress.
"Lila, what's wrong?" I hear my mom's voice enter the house.
"Mom my wedding dress doesn't fit!" Lila cries out.
"Did you gain weight or something?" my mother asks. I then burst out laughing, loving how my mother actually thinks the same as me.
"Why do people keep saying that?!"
"Lila, sweetie calm down. I can fix it. I am a fashion designer of course," my mother says. "Oh hi Taylor." I wave at my mom, sitting on the couch.
"So, how are you gonna fix this mom? I mean it is a freakin four thousand dollar wedding dress. Not to mention the entire dress is lace," I tell her, not knowing if my mother will either ruin the dress or actually ruin it even more.
"Don't worry about the dress Taylor," my mother tells me as she looks through her bag.
"Oh, I have an idea of what you should worry about Taylor!" Lila says with a smirk. "You need to go to the wedding venue I booked and find this guy who's doing the flowers. Tell him I do not want roses in the vases that are being placed on the tables, I want Anemone purple flowers."
"Wait, what?" I ask her in confusion. What the hell are Anemone purple flowers anyway?
"Anemone purple flowers Taylor!"
