TAYLOR (CHAPTER 53)

"Oh Taylor, you look so beautiful," my mother says with a smile.

"Thanks, mom. You do as well," I tell her, staring at the Versace dress she has on, my brain questioning how much money that dress must've costed since it is Versace.

"Places people!" Mia shouts, pulling me out of the chair I was sitting down on.

"Freakin hell," I mutter, cracking my back. I'm not being rude or anything, but honestly? I would rather be at home, eating as much junk food as possible, than be here. But, since I do have to show support and love for my sister at her wedding, I won't and actually can't leave.

"Isn't this exciting?!" Mia shouts in a whisper, tugging my arm as we walk down the hallway.

"Extremely," I say sarcastically. Mia sighs, letting go of my hand as she grabs the bouquets for us to hold. Staring at the closed doors, I open it a tiny bit, my eye wanders through the opened crack of the door, watching many people sitting down as the wedding is about to start.

"Taylor!"

"Nothing!" I jump, stepping away from the door. Turning around nervously I spot an angry Lila, crossing her arms as she looks at me with disappointment.

"What on earth were you doing?!" she asks me. Shrugging I look back at the closed doors, knowing that nobody heard or seen me open the door.

"Um, well I just wanted to see how many people were in there?"

"Really?"

"Yes?" Lila scoffs at me, fixing the ruffles of her dress. "Damn Lila, you look beautiful. You honestly make a beautiful bride," I say with a smile.

"Really?" I nod, noticing at how emotional she's getting by that compliment.

"Shit Lila! Don't cry or else Mia's gonna freakin kill me!" I tell her, running up to her to see if she's even shedding one tear.

"Don't worry I won't. I guess getting married makes people extra emotional. I mean look at me! It's like I'm on my period!" My eyes widen, not loving the fact that "if" Lila got her period, her white wedding dress would be covered in a red bloodstain.

"You're not though right?"

"Of course I'm not on my period Taylor. That would be a complete hell for me and I would have to postpone the wedding!"

"Okay, okay, calm down. You're yelling Lila," I tell her. She shuts up in seconds, and in perfect timing, my father walks right up to us.

"Wow, is that my little girl wearing that beautiful, yet also, expensive wedding dress?" I hear my father say, making Lila blush as she twirls in the dress.

"I'm also here ya know," I say waving my hand directly at my dad's face. He laughs, giving me a hug.

"You look beautiful as well buttercup. Both of you."

"Well I mean Lila looks even more beautiful since it is her wedding day and I'm here standing as a single lady for who knows how long," I mutter.

"Don't say that Taylor. You'll find someone," Lila says.

"Oh, do you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"The song "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Duh," I tell them. Both of them laugh, yet in my head, that song is playing over and over again like a broken record.

"Everyone! It's time! Please take your places and do not mess up!" Mia shouts in a whisper, placing everyone in their places.

"Lila, do I have to walk down the aisle with Shawn's cousin?" I ask her, not wanting to do that at all.
