"Jacob, make sure the guards stay out of the room when Sean brings the dishes back. Also, Sean, stay out front with Jacob after returning the dishes." Peter said as both Sean and Jacob nodded in agreement. I finished drinking the milk before eating the second half of the sandwich. Sean took the dishes from my hand, smiled, and walked out the door after Jacob.

"You had a nightmare last night." Peter said, his voice soft. I couldn't remember what I had dreamed. I thought I had just fallen asleep and stayed that way till the morning.

"I moved beside you and laid a hand on your shoulder. You calmed down quickly. Your sleep became peaceful." said Peter. What he said reminded me of my dad. Whenever he came home, I got nightmares about what it would be like if one day he never came home. My dad would come into my room and rest a hand on my shoulder and whisper, "Everything will be alright." I told Peter this and he smiled.

"You love your father very much, don't you? Well on his behalf, I can say he loves you very much as well." said Peter. I couldn't help but think that he knew my father. If so, how well? Were they talking currently? I looked up at Peter with my question glowing in my gaze. He slowly nodded as a small feeling of relief flooded over me for a moment. I smile crept onto my face only to quickly disappear when Sean walked in with a weary expression.
