I looked over to Peter in panic. Surveying the surroundings, Peter said, "On the count of three, we're going to run through those trees there. Ready? One, two, three, go!" With the signal, I ran as fast as I could to the area Peter had pointed out. I quickly stopped at the treeline to let the other two catch up. We all ran the same pace after passing the tree line.

A man jumped out in front of me from behind a tree. He was one of the three masked men I saw everyday when I was still locked up. I skidded to a halt in front of him. He started towards me pulling out a knife. As he got close enough, I hit his hand making the knife fly out of his hand. Catching him in a moment of shock, I punched him in the stomach then the face.

I looked up to see Peter and Jacob stopped and waiting for me. Jacob looked shocked. I guess he didn't know that I took karate for a few years. I started another run as I came up to them. We ran for another ten minutes before stopping. We went as silent as we could, trying to hold in our heavy breathing from the long run. Peter went around to make sure that there was no one else.

"We need to go back. The car is the only way we can quickly escape. They will probably be expanding into the woods, leaving us an opportunity to make a brake for the car. I made sure to grab the key." Peter said. Both Jacob and I nodded. I was slightly amazed by the fact he came up with the plan so quickly.
