A few hours have now passed. Sean and I were still in the room while Jacob had to leave. Sean and I were playing war with a pack of cards Jacob had found. We were still making sure that we stayed quiet. Sean and I flipped the cards we had with me winning the hand. I heard a small noise come from Peter as I collected mine and Sean's cards. I looked over as Peter was again trying to open his eyes and keep them open. This time he was successful. I smiled. He tried to move but his injuries wouldn't let him.
Jacob walked in and motioned Sean to come with him. Sean cleaned up the cards and walked out of the room with Jacob. Peter watched as the two walked out then tried to turn his head to see me. He winced as the pain in his ribs probably came into effect.
"I'm sorry you had to watch that. I had no idea they would actually make you watch. Not from the same room anyway." Peter said through a rough, dry voice. I just looked at him. I said o him not to be sorry. I looked down at my watch. It was 9:30 once again. I slowly closed my eyes and smiled at Peter. Even with the slight discomfort of the ground, I fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, I woke up. I looked over at Peter who was sleeping soundly. I fell back to sleep with knowing he was fine sleeping. Once the it was morning, Sean came in. He replaced the old bandages with new ones. Jacob also came in briefly to give me an ice pack for Peter. That morning flew by with conversation. It was mostly Sean and I talking. It was again interrupted by the three masked men coming to take me to the other room again.
