"You should eat while you can. You'll only be given two meals a day while you're here." Peter said. I nodded, slowly pulling away from the warmth of his embrace. I picked up the sandwich, eating it quickly with small sips of the pop in between. Sean walked in just before I finished drinking the pop. He stayed oddly silent. He and Peter just made casual small talk and left with the dirty dishes when I finished. I wondered why he was silent a moment before shrugging it away.
"If you do find a way to get me out of here, what will you do?" I asked when the door had fully shut.
"I'd bring you home. Make sure that you're safe until your dad gets back." Peter replied. I again leaned against his shoulder, letting him put his arm around my back again as well. The door swung quickly swung open, Sean and Jacob bursting through.
"We're sorry, but there's something urgent we need to tell you, Peter." Sean said in a wavering, anxious tone. He had a worried look on his face. Peter slowly got up, making sure he didn't move too quickly to hurt my back.
