"Tell them to give me another quick minute." Peter said as Sean responded with a small, quick nod. The door closed behind Sean as he left. I started to drown in fear as I knew what was about to happen. Yet, knowing there wasn't much time, I stayed silent and emotionless.

"You won't have to worry about your back this time. They are not going to do that again since you're too valuable to them. Today, some would say, will be a bit more tolerable." Peter finished with a slight quiver in his voice. Soon after, the three masked men walked in once again. The routine was repeated same as the day before. We were in the same room as before as well, once we stopped walking. They tied me in the chair but backed away right as they finished this time. The man who'd whipped me came in stopping in front of me. He again asked me questions about my father.

Every time I didn't answer this time, I was punched in the stomach. Every punch winded me. The pain of the impact started to fade away the more he punched. I was punched over thirty times before they gave up. Peter was right about this being more tolerable. I get winded in sports too much for that to faze me. The usual two masked men escorted me back after allowing me to quickly catch my breath. At least this time I was able to walk back by myself. The walk back again felt like an eternity. As I walked into my room I realized Peter, Jacob, and Sean weren't there.
