Peter was getting the extra blankets and pillows out of the closet for himself and Jacob. I watched him hand Jacob a blanket and pillow then walk back over. He set up the couch so that it looked like a decent bed. He took off his military jacket and laid it on the arm of the chair beside the couch. He then sat down on the couch where he had pulled the blanket back. Before he laid down, he looked up at me and smiled.

"Thank you." I said while smiling back at Peter. I lifted the blanket partially in front of my face as I moved around to get comfortable. I slightly struggled but found a way that made me feel even more tired. My eyelids grew heavy and I fell quickly to sleep.

I woke up to Peter lightly shaking me. My vision was hazy as I blinked slowly awake. I was confused to why he was waking me up. Jacob was standing slightly off in a corner of the room looking anxious and ready to run. I looked over to see a silhouette pass by the window.

"We have to go. They're here." Peter said in a soft hushed tone. I got out of the bed and threw on my shoes. Peter grabbed his jacket and told me and Jacob to follow him. He led us to a small secret back door. Peter quickly opened it and got me then Jacob to go through first. I looked back to make sure Peter was coming too, which he was. We sat in silence until we heard the front door of the room smash open.
