I woke up to the sound of music coming from outside. I looked out my window to see Gracie stepping out of a car.

"Mommy! Gracie's here!" I screeched running into the bathroom.

I took a quick shower so I didn't smell stinky in front of Gracie. I got dressed in a red plaid shirt with a white tank top under, black jeans, and red and black Jordan's.

"Justin! Gracie's here!" mommy's voice scared me making me jump slightly.

I quickly gelled up my hair and ran downstairs.

"Gracie!" I grinned tackling her into a hug.

"Hi, boo." she smiled.

I blushed at the nickname and she 'awwed.'

"Well, let's go eat lunch!" Mommy announced.

"Lunch? Mommy it's the morning." My eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"No honey, it's 12 in the afternoon. You slept in." Mommy replied.

"Oh." I mumbled.

I saw Gracie's hand swinging back and forth and decided to take the chance. I took a step forward and grabbed her hand. She smiled and squeezed mine lightly. I grinned.

"Aww, you guys are too cute." mommy gushed.

Gracie's cheeks turned bright pink and I kissed one trying to make her feel better.

"I want pancakes though." I mumbled and mommy and Gracie laughed.

We went to mommy's car and Gracie got in the back seat.

I did too so she wouldn't be lonely.

"Where do you want to go?" mommy questioned.

"How about iHop since Justin wants pancakes?" Gracie suggested.

I nodded only 'cause she was the one who suggested it. Plus I wanted pancakes.

"Yeah mommy! What she said!" I added so mommy knew that I was agreeing.

She says that I tend to nod randomly sometimes so I had to clarify that I was saying yes.

"Alright." mommy said and started the car.

We drove to iHop and sat in a booth.

"What do you want, honey?" mommy asked.

"Ooooh chocolate!" I gasped pointing at the chocolate chip pancakes.

Mommy laughed. "And you, Gracie?"

"Uhm, just regular pancakes." Gracie replied and I smiled staring at her. "Is there something on my face or...?"

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Sorry." I whispered looking down.

"Aww, it's ok baby." she pinched my cheeks and I giggled.
