31. "I didn't. See."

"She's such a meanie." I muttered, kicking all the clothes on my floor under my bed.

I thought Gracie was on my side! Now, she's making me clean my room and took my phone! Plus, she touched my pee pee! Oh well, I love her so whatever.

Gracie suddenly walked in and I quickly stopped what I was doing, shooting an innocence smile at her.

"Justin..." her voice went higher at the end of my name.

"Yes?" I replied.

"You can't-" she paused, closing her eyes and sucking in a deep breath. She slowly let it out. "You can't just put everything under your bed."

I shook my head. "I didn't. See."

I ran over to the closet and opened it, all my toys and clothes pouring out onto the floor.

Gracie's jaw dropped and she closed the door behind her, probably so mommy won't see it. So Gracie is on my side! Yay!

"Justin." she spoke through gritted teeth. "I'm gonna count to three and when I get to three, you better be putting all your shit where it belongs."

I gasped. "Ooo, you said a bad-"

My eyes widened and I quickly got on my knees.

I began to panic as I didn't know where to start.

Tears started running down my cheeks. Oh no, she reached 3!

I hiccuped and grabbed a shirt, rolling it into a ball.

"Justin, that's not how you fold a shirt!" Gracie scolded.

She reached over to grab it from my hands but I flinched away. I sobbed when she snatched it away.

She dropped the shirt and yanked my shoulder back. I covered my face with my hands.

"Please don't hurt me! I don't have any money!" I screeched.

When I didn't feel pain, I peeked through my fingers to see Gracie looking at me with wide eyes.

"Justin, I-I would never hurt you like that. I'm not that guy from the alleyway. I'm sorry, it's just that you wouldn't listen and I've been having a bad day. I'm so so sorry, baby." she got on her knees too and wrapped her arms around me.

"You no hurt Justin?" I questioned.

"Never." she responded.

"Pinky promise?" I inquired.

She pulled away from the hug and smiled. "Promise." she wrapped her pinky around mine.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too." she placed her lips on mine. "Now let's get this room cleaned up."
