It's been 2 days and Justin is acting weirdly. He continues to be rude towards me but when Gracie's here, he's a little angel. I'm starting to lose my temper with him and I hope Gracie isn't there to witness it.
"Gracie, can you hand me that blanket?" I questioned as I folded one of Justin's shirts.
"No, she can't. Why don't you get it?" Justin snapped and I instantly dropped the shirt.
"Ok, that's it! I don't know why the fuck you're acting like this but it needs to stop, RIGHT NOW!" I yelled.
Gracie looked shock while Justin had teary eyes. His lip trembled and he suddenly wailed and started full out sobbing. I shook my head and Gracie sighed. I think Gracie was noticing his change in behaviour.
Justin looked at Gracie for help but she just shook her head.
"Justin, she's right. You've been treating your mother like trash when she was the one who gave you life, clothed you, fed you, and stayed beside your bed for 20 fucking years so you seriously need to drop the attitude." Gracie spoke up and I smiled.
She was truly amazing!
"B-but Gracie, you're my number one person!" Justin exclaimed.
Ok, that hurt.
Gracie looked at me before sighing.
"Justin, I think we need a break." she said and both mine and Justin's eyes widened.
"W-we'll see each other t-tomorrow, right?" he stammered.
"No Justin. We're breaking up as in we're not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore."
"N-no more I love you?" he whimpered.
"No more I love you." Gracie clarified. "Bye Pattie, I'll see you at work."
"Yea, are you still gonna teach Justin? I questioned.
"Uhm..." she trailed off.
"Please, he needs this! I'll make sure he doesn't annoy you." I begged.
"Yeah, sure." she hesitated.
"Bye." she walked out and Justin stared at the door for about 15 minutes as I continued to fold clothes.
"Justin, go to sleep. It's late." I demanded but he didn't move.
I think he finally understands what break up means.
