Chapter 9 - Guitar Time

  Isabelle's POV
It was early in the morning and I'm wide awake.
I sighed and got up and did my morning routine.

As I was done, I grabbed my guitar and quietly walked out of the dorms.

Out in the corridors, everything was super quiet.
Lots of piece and quiet.

I walked into the Courtyard as I heard birds chirping.

I sat down on the bench and laid my guitar on my lap. Then I started to play a tune.

"You have an amazing voice." a familiar voice said.

I turned to him.

"I didn't know you play guitar." he said, sitting next to me.
"I keep it to myself, Malfoy." I mumbled.

He chuckled at that.

"Want to play together?" he asked.

That was a sudden. I thought.

I nodded. Malfoy smiled for once and took out his guitar.


"Wow." he said.
I laughed nervously.

"You're really good." Malfoy said.
"Thanks, you're good too." I said.

Then there was an awkward silence between us.

"I---" we both say at the same time.
Then we laughed at that.

"You first." He said.
"No, you should go first." I said.

"No, you." He said.
I sighed. "Are we actually going to argue about this?"

Malfoy shrugged with a smile on his face.

"Maybe." he said.
I giggled at him, for the first time.

"Pabo." I mumbled.
Malfoy arched his brow at me, confused.

"Sorry, Korean accent." I said.
"I see. Anyway, what does that mean?" he asked.

I burst out of laughing. "Not telling you."
"Oh come on, please." he pleaded.

"Nope."

I got up and set my guitar into its case.
"You're leaving?" he asked.
"Yeah, but why did you ask?" I asked back.

Malfoy quickly turned around. "N-nothing, just asking."

Did he just stuttered? I thought.

"Well, I'll be leaving then." I said.
I grabbed my guitar case and was about to leave, until...

"Belle."

I turned to Malfoy and waited for to speak.

"Maybe we can play some music often. If we have time, you know what I mean? And maybe...we can stop hating each other." he said.

I hesitated for a while there. Should we be hanging out like this?

I looked at him and nodded.
He smiled again.

"But it depends if you behave well." I said and left.

Draco's POV
"But it depends if you behave well." Belle said and left.

I couldn't help myself to make happy jump.
I get to hang out with Belle, often and maybe we can take it to the next level.

Maybe....

I'll make sure Belle will fall for me, because I love her just as much as anyone.
