Chapter 20 - Announcing the Yule Ball

Isabelle's POV
I felt arms around me which it woke me up.

I noticed I was in Malfoy's arms.

EH?! MALFOY'S ARMS?! I thought.

I quickly sat up and moved away.
With that, Malfoy woke up.

"What did you do to me?" I asked.
"What? You don't remember?" he asked me back.

"All I remember is that...." I trailed off.
Actually, I don't remember.

"You blacked out last night. But good thing I caught you though, you look tired the way I look at it." Malfoy said.

I looked down, feeling so embarrassed.
"We better go, before your friends are looking for you." he said.

He stood up and held out his hand.
"Come on." he said.

I was shocked by his actions. I mean, this is Malfoy we're talking about.
I took his hand and he helped me up.

"Um...thank you." I said.

He nodded with a smile on his face.

He let go of my hand and we both walked out of the Astronomy Tower.

Erika's POV
Belle wasn't in her bed last night. I got more worried, actually...I PANICKED!
I was tapping my fingers on the table and Hermione noticed.
"Erika, calm down." she said.

I sighed and stopped.
"Sorry." I said.

She sighed and went back to the Daily Prophet.

"Hey!" Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I turned to the door.
Belle smiled at us and sat down with us.

"Morning." she said.
"Where were you, Belle? You had me worried." I said.
"Sorry, I was at the Astronomy Tower...but then I found out that I was sleeping there. Hehe, clumsy me, right." Belle said.

I sighed out of relief. "Thank Goodness."

Belle started to eat until....

"Argh! Look at this!" Hermione slammed the Daily Prophet down.
"I can't believe it! She's done it again!"

"What?" Belle asked.
"Listen." Hermione said and read it to us.

Miss Granger, a plain but ambitious girl seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey, sources report is none other than the Bularian bonbon, Viktor Krum. No word yet on how Harry Potter's taking this latest emotional blow.

What! The! Hell! I thought.

"And here's something about Erika." Hermione said.

Miss Erika Lee, has been in a Love Triangle with Harry Potter and Jace Jones. Jones and Lee has been spotted together, staring at each other during the break. But her beauty catches every boy in Hogwarts.

"What?! That's ridiculous." I said.
"The article is not done yet, listen to Belle's article." Hermione said.
With that, Belle choked on her drink.

"W-What?"

Hermione continued.

Miss Isabelle Lee, the Tri-wizard Champion. She has her Natural beauty, like her sister. Every boy in Hogwarts has admire her beauty. But, Cedric Diggory, her contestant has feelings for her since 3rd year. Cedric and Belle....hmm? Perfect couple, I suppose.

Belle suddenly held her fork tight and stabbed her toast.
"She's going to get hurt." she said.
"Belle, keep calm okay." I said.

"How can I? She's making these lies and posting them on the Prophet. Some news." Belle said.

I sighed at that.

"At least she'll be deal with later." I said.

Then A boy named Nigel came.

"Parcel for you, Mr. Weasley." Ron accepted the package.
"Oh, thank you, Nigel." Then Nigel was staring at Harry and Belle.
And Ron noticed.

"Not now, Nigel. Later." said Ron. Nigel frowned and left.

Hermione and I gave Ron a look saying, 'care to explain?'
"I told him that he would get Harry's and Belle's autograph. And he has a crush on Belle." he said. "Every boy does. And half of the boys has a crush on Erika." Belle mumbled.

Ron opened his package.
"Mum's sent me something." he said.

He pulled it out. Looks like a robe.

"Mum sent me a dress." he said.

"Well, it does match your eyes. Is there a bonnet?" said Harry.
He pulled out the bonnet. "Ah Ha!"

"Nose down, Harry."

Ron went over to Ginny.

"Ginny, these must be for you."

"I'm not wearing that, it's ghastly."
Belle and I started to laugh out butts off.

"How they can be for Ginny?" Hermione laughed.
"They're for you." I said, laughing.

Then everyone in the Gryffindor Table laughed.
"Dress Robes." Belle said.

"Dress Robes? For what?"

Isabelle's POV
Professor McGongal put the girls on the right side and the boys on the left.

"The Yule Ball...has been a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament...since it's inception.
On Christmas Eve night, we and our guests...gather in the Great Hall for a night of well-mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school, I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward. And I mean this literally, because...the Yule Ball is, first and foremost...a dance." said Professor McGongal. Every girl starts to talk and the boys all groaned. I'm actually excited about it.

"Silence." We went quiet.

"The house of Godric Gryffindor has been commaned the respect of the wizard world for nearly 10 centuries. I will not have you, in the course of a single evening, besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons." she said. She kept talking.

Say that five times fast. I thought.

Then I saw Fred and George did the same.
I quietly giggled.

"It's looks like someone here will like to volunteer, Mr. Weasley." She said.

"Yes?" Said Ron.
"Would you join me please." Ron came up.

Erika and I was giggling.

"Now, put your arm on my waist." She said. "Where?" Asked Ron surprisingly. "My waist." Said Professor McGongall. I giggled more. "Now, will you, Mr. Flich." She said. Flich started the music. Professor McGongall started to count the steps.

"Come on, everyone. On your feet." Every girl was on their feet.

Erika and I were the last ones. As we got up, all of the boys got up.

Erika and I looked at each other and shrugged.

I saw Harry was about to ask Erika, but then, Seamus beat him.
"Care for a dance?" he asked Erika.

Erika nodded and went to dance with him.
All of a sudden, Fred came up to me.

"Care for a dance, m'lady?" he asked.
I let out a giggle.

"You may, Mr. Weasley." I said.

Fred let out a chuckle and we did a little dance.

"That's good everyone!" Professor McGongall said.
