Chapter 84 - How old is Dumbledore anyway?

Erika's POV
Today was way too fun. Ginny and I had a little talk.
We were talking about our crushes. Hehehe.

But all she talks about is Dean. Yep! She's dating Dean Thomas.
I always though Lukas and Ginny had a little something in between them. Oh well, but there's something about Dean and Ginny though, is there?

Ginny knew about my crush already. Only Hermione, Belle and Ginny knows.
Oh boy, they would start teasing me about this. Like Belle does.

Since I'm downstairs, reading a book. I heard a chirp. A familiar chirp.
I stood up and walked to the chirping sound.

"Hedwig?" I asked in surprised.

Since when Harry got here? I thought.
Then I started to head to the stairs.

"Mrs. Weasley!" I called her.
"What is it, dear?" she asked.

"Is Harry up there?" I asked her.
"Harry? Harry who?" she asked, confused.

Seriously? I thought.

"I mean Harry Potter." I replied.
"I think I'd know if Harry Potter was in my house, wouldn't I?" she asked.
"Well his trunk's in the kitchen, and his owl." I replied.
"No dear, I seriously doubt that." Mrs. Weasley said.

Hedwig chirp again. Then I heard footsteps.
"Harry? Did someone say "Harry?" asked Ron.
"I did. Is he up there with you and Lukas?" I asked
"Of course not. I'd know if my best friend was in my room, wouldn't I?" he said.
"Nope, he isn't up here. Harry wouldn't appear like that in a house." Lukas said.

Hedwig chirped again.
"Is that an owl, I heard?" asked Hermione.
"You haven't seen him, have you?" I asked.
"Probably, he wandering about the house." Hermione replied.

"I'm probably going insane." I mumbled.
"I think you are, Erika." Ginny said.

"How can Harry wander around the house without telling us?" Belle asked.
I just shrugged my shoulders.

Then I heard a door open, I went to the living room and saw Harry.
"I'm not going insane." I muttered.
"What?" Harry asked.

I giggled and hugged him. "It's nothing.

Then Hermione hugged him. Then Ron, then Belle.
"What a lovely surprise! Why didn't you let us know you were coming?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
"I didn't know. Dumbledore." Harry replied.
"Oh, that man. But then, what would we do without him?" she said.
Harry turned to me all of a sudden.
It's like...a strong connection. More stronger than before.
I broke the eye contact as I saw Ron pointing at Hermione's lips.

"Got a bit of toothpaste." he said.
Hermione smiled and wiped it off.

"Something's going on with those two, don't you think?" Lukas whispered to us.
We nodded as we looked at Hermione and Ron.

Isabelle's POV
We took Harry's stuff into Ron's room.
Harry had the Daily Prophet, he was burning it in mid-air.

"So when did you get here?' Harry asked Hermione.
"A few days ago. Though for a while, I wasn't sure I was coming." she replied.

"Mum sort of lost it last week. Said Ginny and I had no business going back to Hogwarts. She said that it's too dangerous." said Ron.
"Oh, come on." Harry complained.
"She's not alone. Even my parents, and they're Muggles, knew something bad's happening." said Hermione.
"Anyway, Dad stepped in, told her she was being barmy...and it took a few days,  but she came around." said Ron. Harry nodded and turned to me and Erika.
"What about you guys?" he asked.
"Well, we got here yesterday morning,  my clan did say it's dangerous to go back, but Belle and I finally convinced them." Erika explained.
"This is Hogwarts we're talking about. It's Dumbledore. What could be safer?" he asked.
"There's been a lot of talk recently that...Dumbledore's got a bit old." said Hermione.
"Rubbish! Well, he's only...What is he?" asked Harry while looking at Ron.
"150? Give or take a few years." Ron joked.

I snickered.

We laughed and laughed.
"Anyway, Lukas, why you're so quiet?" Ron asked.
"Huh? Uh...." he uttered.
"Oh, I think I know why." I said.

"What?" Harry and Ron asked.
Hermione, Erika and I just giggled. Because us girls knows that he's thinking about Ginny.

"Oh, nothing." Hermione replied.
Erika and I just kept on giggling.

Ron scoffed at that.  "Girls."
Erika and I scoffed and mimic him. "Boys."
