Chapter 28 - The Clue

Isabelle's POV
It was in the afternoon and I've been staring at the egg for hours.
I bet Cedric and the others already figured it out already.

"Aish! I don't get it." I growled.
I laid my head on the table and stared at the golden egg.

"I don't know any clue." I said.
I decided to take a bath in the bathroom. A bubble bath.

I stepped into the bath tub and relaxed my muscles.
What is it today? I thought.

I sighed and massaged my temples.
"Only Two days until the next task." I said.

Then I glanced at the golden egg, which was sitting on the toilet seat.
I grabbed it and wondered....

"Ugh! It's not helping." I said.
Then I set the egg on my lap. That's when I heard music.

"Eh?!"

The music kept on playing.
"I wonder." I said.

I took a deep breath and dived my head in.   

 I couldn't breath anymore. I pulled up and coughed.
"An hour?" I thought out loud.

"The Black Lake!"

I quickly got up and got dressed something comfortable . I got out of the common room and went to the library for more information.

~That Night~
I can't find anything. I was about to slam my face into the book until...

"Belle! There you are." Hermione said.

I turned around and saw my best friends.
"You were here the whole time?" Erika asked.
"Yeah, I can't find anything." I replied.

Harry sighed and looked over my shoulder.
"Belle's right. No clue." he said.

"Harry, say it again." said Hermione.

"Come see us where our voices sound." said Harry.
"The Black Lake, that's obvious." said Hermione.
Hermione shook Ron to wake up and gave him the egg.
"An hour long you'll have to look." I said.

"Again, obvious. Though, admittedly, potentially problematic." said Hermione.
"Potentially Problematic?" Harry and I said.
"When's the last time you held your breath underwater for an hour, Hermione?" said Harry, freaking out.

"Holding your breath for an hour...that's impossible." I said.

"Look, Harry, Belle. We can do this. The five of us can figure it out." said Hermione.
"Well, we're not getting anywhere." Erika mumbled.
"So true. This is impossible." I said.

"Sorry for the interruption...Professor McGongall will like to you in her office." said Moody.

Harry and I were about to get up, but Moody stopped us.
"Not you, Potter and Lee. Just Granger and Lee." he said.

Erika and I looked at each other, confused.
"But the tournament is an hour away." Hermione said.
"I know. Which all of you need to make Potter and Lee rest. Go, NOW!" Moody said.

"Um...which Lee are you referring to, sir?" I asked.
"Oh bother, Erika Lee." he replied.

Erika and Hermione glanced at each other and shrugged.
They left the library.

"And Lee." Moody said.
"Y-Yes?" I asked.

"Someone's out there, looking for you." he replied.
"Oh, okay."

I got up and gather my books.
"See you later, Harry." I said.

He nodded as I left the library.

I wonder who wants to see me at this time? I thought.

As I walked through the hall....someone tapped on my shoulder.
I was scared. I slowly turned around to see a handsome face. XD

Erika's POV
"What's Malfoy doing here?" I whispered to Hermione.
"No idea." she whispered back.

Malfoy is the only boy in here, which is really awkward.

"I've summoned you five here because you're the champions treasure. Gabrielle, you'll be your sisters. Cho, you'll be Cedric's. Erika, you'll be Harry's. Hermione, you'll be Vitkor's." said ProfessorcGongall.

My eyes widen at that....we're the treasures for the 2nd Task?!

"And Draco, you'll be Belle's treasure." She added.

"Excuse me, Professor. Can you explain to me why Malfoy is my sisters treasure?" I asked, all of a sudden.

Malfoy and I made contact. He just gave me a blank look, while I glared at him.
I felt Hermione tugged on my sleeves.

"No time for glaring, Erika." she whispered.
I sighed and nodded.

"Are you ready?" Professor McGongall asked.
"But what happens if we wake up?" Hermione asked, worried.

"You won't be, Miss Granger. Now, are all five ready?" McGonagall replied.

We nodded and she said the spell, making us fallen into darkness.
