Chapter 114 - It Was An Accident

"Ron, stop it. You're making it snow." Said Hermione.
Ron noticed what he was doing and stopped.
He turned to Hermione and asked, "Tell me, how did I broke up with Lavender."

Hermione looked at Erika, Belle, Lukas, Harry, and then back to Ron.
"Um, well....she came to visit you in the hospital. And you talked. I don't believe it was a particularly long conversation." Hermione replied.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm bloody thrilled to be shot of her. It's just she seems a bit put out." Said Ron.

Ron and Hermione looked ahead. Harry and Erika turned around as Belle and Lukas looked behind them.
They saw Lavender, holding her spoon tightly, she's just staring at Ron. Like Mad.

"Yes, she does, doesn't she?" Said Hermione.
"Like a mad women." Lukas mumbled.
"Totally." Erika and Belle said.

"You say you don't remember anything from that night?"  Hermione asked Ron.
"Um...there is something." Ron thought for awhile.

Belle, Harry, Erika, and Lukas at the two. Hoping Ron will remember.
"But it can't be. I was completely boggled, wasn't I?" Said Ron.

Erika and Belle frowned at that, but they didn't show it. Harry was a little disappointed, Lukas just facepalmed himself.
"Seriously." Erika mumbled.

Belle sighed and laid down her head on the table.
"What?" Ron asked.

They didn't respond, but then Katie walked by.
"Harry." Hermione called

"What?" Harry asked as he looked up from his book.
"It's Katie." Hermione whispered.

Harry looked to his right and noticed Katie. He began to walk up to her.
"Thank goodness she's alive." Erika said.
Belle nodded.

With Harry and Katie, they started a conversation.
"Hey, Katie." Harry greeted.

Katie sighed at that.
"I know what you're going to ask, Harry. To be honest, I really don't know who cursed me. I don't remember what happened that day." she said.
Harry nodded. "It's alright, I'm just glad that you're alright. The team misses you though."

Katie smiled, but her smile faded as she looked at the Grand door.

Harry followed her glance and saw Malfoy. Draco got anxious and left.

I knew it! He was the one who cursed her. Harry thought.
"Katie." her friends called.

Katie left Harry and he chased after Malfoy.

Harry's POV
I followed Malfoy to the girls bathroom and then I heard sobbing. When I got there, I saw Malfoy.

"I know what you did, Malfoy. You hexed her, didn't you?" I asked.
He turned around, scared.
Then he started to shoot spells. I dodged it and pulled out my wand.

I shot another spell. But he dodged it, making the water coming out. He shot another spell. I moved quickly.
I was hiding behind the stalls, then I bend down, slowly, then looked. Malfoy shot another spell, I dodged it again. I kept sending spells until I saw a opening.

"Sectumsempra!"

It hit him. But when I walked to him. I couldn't believe what I just did. He was bleeding to death.

Snape came into the view and looked at Malfoy, bleeding. He glared at me and I was not making eye contact.
Snape then kneeled down and took out his wand.

"P-Professor...it was----" He cut me off in mid sentence.
"Out!"

I gulped and quickly walked out of the bathroom.

"You used that spell?!" Erika and Hermione exclaimed.
"Don't shout, you two." Belle said, calmly. Even though, she's secretly dating Draco. So, she pretended not to care, and it was hard for her as well.

"It was an accident. I didn't that spell could ever do that." Harry said.
"Do you ever study spells, Harry? I thought Defense Against of Dark Arts is your thing?" Hermione asked.
"Hermione, don't push it. At least Harry learned his lesson." Belle said.

Everyone stared at the book as Harry was shivering.
"I need to get rid of that book." he said.

Erika looked her both side and they were still looking at her, constantly.

What? she mouthed.
Hermione and Ron pointed at her, while Belle, Lukas, and Ginny crossed their arms.

Erika was defeated. She sighed and walked to Harry. She then laid her hand on his shoulder.
"Come on, I'm taking you somewhere today." she said.
"Where?" Harry asked.

"Somewhere that we need to get rid of that book." Erika replied.

Erika's POV
We went to the 7th floor and I think this is a good place to get rid of the book.
"Take my hand." I said, as I held out my hand.
He took it and the door opened.

We walked in.

As we walked in, it was very different from last year.
"The Room of Requirement." Said Harry.
I turned to Harry again and held on his hand.

"We've got to hide the book. Where no one finds it. Including you." I said. Harry nodded.
We heard something up ahead.

Harry walked up to it and opened the cabinet. It revealed nothing, but only a black little bird.
"Cute." I said.
"Yeah." Harry said.

I walked up to Harry and grabbed his book.
"Close your eyes." I said.

But he didn't.

"Close your eyes, Harry." I said again. I took the book and stepped back.
"Close your eyes." I whispered.

And he finally did.

I walked off and looked at the book.
The book has caused too much trouble. I closed my eyes and tossed the book, so I won't know where is it. XD
I opened my eyes and turned back to Harry.
He still have his eyes closed.

I slowly walked up to him and...hesitated....

Should I kiss him? I thought.

I quickly pecked him on the lips. And yes, I'm blushing.
"Now you won't know where it is." I said, stepping back.

Harry chuckled as I left.

Harry's POV
Erika already walked out...and she kissed me.
I chuckled at myself, maybe our feelings are getting increased by the minute.

I just need the perfect timing to tell that...I really like her.

As I walked out, Ron came behind me.
"So, did you do it?"
"What?" I asked.
"You know, hide the book?" replied Ron.
"Oh, yeah." I replied.
I heard someone's footsteps around the corner. It was Professor Slughorn.
He looked at us and said, "Ah, dear, yes."
He looks like he didn't want to see us. He turned around and left.

"Still no luck with Slughorn, then, I take it?" Ron asked.
"No." I replied.

But then....something clicked...

"Luck." I said.

"That's it. All I need's a bit of luck."
