"HOW DARE YOU! You abandon me for two months to go on magical little adventures with Taury." Joe questioned her as soon as he was in The Raven. "Next time, please take me with you."
Gemini chuckled. "I will, I promise." He smiled slightly before hugging her.
"I missed you, Gem." She smiled back.
"Missed you, too. Have you seen Toni, I need to talk to her?" She asked about her sister. Joe scratched the back of his neck, nervously. She caught onto this. "What happened?"
"Your uncle in San Diego, your mom's side, got worse, they needed Toni to help him, at least a little bit." Gemini sighed in frustration.
"Only time time they contact us is when they want something. Pricks." Joe smirked sympathetically before patting her back.
"Do you wanna help me try and do something?" He asked. She smirked at the man as he tried to change her focus.
"Is it about Becky?" He nodded.
"Come on." He grabbed her arm slightly and guided her out of the bar, Dixon slowly behind. They weren't open for hours anyway.

Opening the door of Joe's apartment door, Dixon ran onto the couch quickly, lying down. Joe smirked at the dog's behaviour before glancing at Gemini.
He continued to a door that was closed. He looked back to Gemini before pushing it open. Gemini gasped at the sight of the room. It was a child's room. There wasn't much furniture in there, apart from a bed for an older child, around ten. There was also a small light on the ceiling.
"I wanted it to be perfect for Becky, when I win." He glanced at the woman who began walking around the room. "I-"
"I get it." She turned back to him. "You need to think like that. It keeps you sane." He smiled.
"Thanks for that. So can you help me?" He asked her as she smiled.
"Let's do this. You know Becky's favourite color?" He smiled.

After doing approximately six hours of work, Gemini and Joe had actually finished the painting. The walls were a lavender color. Gemini had began adding some designs of animals, her creativity making Joe smile as she asked questions on his daughter's favourite animals, colors, even flowers.
He hugged Gemini after. "Thank you for this, I really needed the help." She smiled at him.
"You know I'd help you with it, anytime time." She replied. She checked her watch. "We should probably get going. The bar's gonna open soon and we'll get an earful from Nate if we don't go."
He nodded. "Yeah, come on." Gemini whistled for Dixon before the three of them walked out.
