The big screen displays the two students that will be fighting, Sero Hanta and Todoroki Shouto.

I feel rather excited for this battle, yet, felt sorry for Sero since he might not gonna last long. But still, we never know. He might win.

"NEXT UP ARE THESE TWO!! HE'S GOOD! HE'S GOOD, BUT WHAT'S THAT PLAINNESS HE JUST CAN'T GET RID OF?

"FROM THE HERO COURSE, IT'S SERO HANTA!!"

"That's kinda mean . . . " says Sero as he stretches his hands.

"TAKING IN SECOND, THEN FIRST IN PRELIMS! YOU'RE WAY TOO STRONG, KID! HE WASN'T RECOMMENDED FOR ADMISSION FOR NOTHING!

"ALSO FROM THE HERO COURSE, IT'S TODOROKI SHOUTO!!"

"READY?!! START!!"

Sero makes the first move to attack his opponent by extending his tape towards Todoroki that immeadiately wraps around his body, looking like a mummy. He tries to pull him out of bounds but then suddenly, ice is created around Todoroki and in a blink of an eye, a massive barrier of ice formed until outside of the stadium, freezing Sero fully and half of Midnight. It was like the barrier he made in the cafeteria where he saved me from Bakugou's explosion but bigger.

A feeling that I never wished I felt towards Todoroki surges through me.

I feel very scared of him.

"Sero," Midnight says, shivering from the coldness. "Can you still move?"

"O-Obviously, no."

Todoroki starts approaching Sero and puts his left palm on his chest to melt the ice he made as the audience shouting, "Don't worry."

For some reason, he looked very sad to me.

Time passes by quick and finally it was my turn. I have to admit, I am really nervous. Me against Iida, how would that turn out between engines and butterflies? But at least, I can do lots of things with them. Iida is fast with his engine and could escape from my tricks, but what if I stop him from using it? Or slow him down, at least? Is it possible?

If I succeed to advance to the next round, I'd be fighting off against Shiozaki from Class B, who won by a milestone when she battled with Kaminari. I didn't watch the match because I was busy getting prepared for my fight, which was a total regret since now I'm questioning about her Quirk.

I bit my the bottom of my lip as I make my way to the battlefield. Fire explodes from each corner. I walk up the steps and see Iida on the other side of the field. He looks so serious. I gulp the huge lump in my throat. Dammit! I'm so nervous.

"No, of course not. Truth is, I do get nervous sometimes. But because you're always here for me, you're the reason why I'm calm on the ice."

The memory seeps in again, calming me down, too. Right, Yurio may not be able to be here, but at least he's watching me on TV.

I look up at my opponent with a confident smile. Every inch of my nervousness and negative thoughts pour out, as if I threw all of them in the trash or flush them down the drain.

"IT'S LIKE HE'S THE EPITOME OF THE MIDDLE OF THE PACK!

"FROM THE HERO COURSE, TENYA IIDA!!"

"AND THE OTHER END WE GOT THE HERO WITH NO QUIRKS! OR DOES SHE?! SHE GOT IN THROUGH RECOMMENDATIONS DESPITE BEING CALLED 'QUIRKLESS'! THIS KID HAS SECRETS!

I get to my position as I eye my opponent. I hope Iida sees through me, like how I see determination in his eyes.
