The young (h/c) haired girl giggled as she skipped closer to the creek. Why was she so happy? You may ask. She was going to go meet up with her best friend, Michael Myers. Why at the creek? It was almost like their secret clubhouse, if you will.

Another fact that may have contributed to (Y/N) being so happy was that she fancied Michael, and not in just the friendly way either. As much as the (h/c) haired girl wants to refuse, she was totally smitten with the blonde haired boy.

She continued to skip to their meeting place, clutching the book she brought with her closely to her body. That was one thing about (Y/N), she could never read enough. Michael didn't seem to mind though, if anything he enjoyed hearing (Y/N)'s sweet voice read to him, it would often help him forget what was happening at home. And if you were to confront the (h/c) haired girl about how she'd blush every time Michael would rest his head on her shoulder midway through the story she'd only blush more as she tried to stutter up some type of defense. Even with Michael's use of bad words (Y/N) couldn't help but fall for her best friend.

It wasn't just on the (h/c) haired girls side though. Michael also fancied her quite a bit. He was also quite protective of her. When they would go to school he would often hold her waist as to show others to stay away.

The young (h/c) haired girl sighed as she reached the creek. She looked at the perfect running water that looked extremely clear compared to last week. She sat down on the bright grass as she looked at the clouds as she waited for her best friend. She was laying down on the grass gazing into the sky when she heard footsteps approaching.

She sat up quickly as she was faced with Michael. He walked towards the girls slowly sitting next to her and placing his head on her shoulder. Something seemed off today, and (Y/N) could sense it right away.

"Don't wanna talk about it." He mumbled quietly. The girl sighed petting some of his blonde locks that she was honestly jealous of.

She started to read the book as she normally did. Her mind couldn't help but worry about him. She knew his life wasn't easy. His older sister and mother didn't treat him very well and he often paid for their immoral behavior.

As the book finished she closed the book softly. She looked at him again, her (e/c) eyes gazing over him. She pet his blonde locks again before he sat up making eye contact with the (h/c) haired girl.

(Y/N) looked quizzically at her best friend as Michael quickly shoved his hands into his pockets as he looked for somethings desperately. Finally he smiled and brought out a red bracelet that was hand made with his initials on it.

He grabbed the (h/c) haired girls hand delicately and put the bracelet on. He smiled at her as she blushed slightly.

"Promise to never take it off?" He asked in a cheery tone; which really contradicted his tone when he first arrived.

"I promise." The little girl giggled as Michael kissed her forehead before leaving the girl in a daze.

(Y/N) looked out of her window as she remembered the memory. Even though she knew he had done some bad things she was still hopelessly in love with him, and she still cared for him. She sighed as she moved her gaze to the red bracelet before hearing a door being open upstairs.

She would shrug this off but...

she lived alone.
