'Are you still mad at me?' You heard your mother ask.

You had been living inside your house. You hadn't gone out. Your parents didn't want to. They said it was too dangerous.

Your parents had been fighting a lot. They tried to keep quiet, but you couldn't help but overhear it sometimes. It was still about things you didn't understand.

You were just staring out of the window. You wondered about everyone. What happened to them. But the fight caught your attention. You tore your gaze away from the window and walked towards the wall.

'Of course I am! I told you we shouldn't have gone to that stupid wedding! We could have been dead!' Your father hissed.

'Keep your voice down.. Y/N is in the living room.'

'She's heard us fight before. We fight all the time! So maybe you can just not bring it up anymore.' Your father sighed.

'I don't want you to be mad at me.' Your mother said. 'The least we can do is be nice to each other in a time like this.'

You heard your father sigh again..

'I'm not mad at you.' He said.

You could clearly hear that he was. It wasn't entirely your mum's fault. You said that you wanted to go.

'You are.' Your mother noticed.

'Let it go Y/M/N.'

'I can't! You keep blaming me! I'm sorry that I just wanted to do something fun for a change.'

'Oh yeah, it's really fun to almost be killed by death eaters!'

'How could I know that thay was going to happen?!'

Their voices became louder and louder. It made you feel really uncomfortable. You wanted them to stop.

'Harry Potter was there! Everyone could have bloody known!' Your father almost yelled. 'That's exactly why I told you that we shouldn't go!'

'You act like it's my fault! If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have sai-'

'Stop it! Both of you!' You hissed while stepping into the kitchen.

Your parents looked at you. Their faces relaxed a little so they'd look friendly again.

'This is no one's fault. So stop. You've done nothing but fight for the past few days. So just.. stop.' You spoke.

Your parents didn't say anything. You walked out of the kitchen up to your room. You closed the door and sat down on your bed a moment.

This was all just getting out of hand. Sometimes you wished your life was like a film where you could just skip time. But it wasn't. You had to wait it out. You had to wait everything out. The anxiety of that was getting the better of you.

You glanced at Draco's letter that was laying on your nightstand. You smiled. If there was a god out there, you hoped that he'd let you see him soon. Your mind was still thinking about what would have happened if Draco showed up at the wedding. As a death eater or as your guest. It was emotionally exhausting to think about scenarios like that.. but you couldn't help yourself.

You were pulled out of your train of thoughts by a knock on your door. You looked at it.

'Come in.' You said.

Your mother walked inside and closed the door.

'I'm sorry, Y/N.. I really am..'

'I know.. it's okay. I just wanted you two to stop. Every day I hear you guys yell makes me afraid that you two are going to split up or something. In this war, I don't want to lose you two.' You said.

Your mother sat down besides you.

'We're not getting a divorce. Don't worry about that. It's just that some things have to be fixed before we can stop this fight.'

'You know that one day you're going to have to be honest with me.. right?'

Your mother seemed a little bit confused about what you were talking about. Or she was predending.

'This fight between you and dad goes way deeper than this whole marriage thing. I don't know what you two aren't telling me and I don't have to know but if it's something that also has to do with me I would appreciate it if you could tell me.'

'It's nothing you should worry about Y/N. It's.. almost fixed. Just a few days more.'

You know she was saying that to make you feel better and you just pretended that it worked but actually it didn't work because you knew that it had some thing to do with you and they still wouldn't tell you even though you kinda hinted that you knew. Get It?

'Okay. Then that's good.' You smiled.

Your mother smiled and looked at you for a moment.

'I love you. You know that, right?'

'Of course, mum.'

'You grow up too fast. You even have a boyfriend now.'

'Where does this suddenly come from?' You asked.

Your mother sighed and moved some hair away from your face.(If possible)

'I just realised that. I just hope that after this war, I can still be there to see you walk down the aisle and stuff.'

'You will be there. Even if not, I'll drag your dead body to my wedding. I swear.'

Your mother laughed and sighed afterwards.

'I'll go help your father with dinner downstairs. I hope you'll come soon too.'

She got up and walked towards the door.

'Mum, when can we go outside again? Are we going to keep living in fear? We don't have that much food left, you know.'

'Soon. I promise. Don't you worry.'

Don't worry, it was easy to say in a time like this. But you couldn't help but worry. Not being able to go outside would point to the fact that someone was after you. Was it because you were friends with the golden trio?

You had no idea where they were, so you didnt posses much info that other could be after. You sighed. Your head was driving you crazy. You should just go downstairs. You got up and slowly made your way to the kitchen.

Your parents looked up when you walked in and your father walked towards you to hug you.

'It's alrigt, dad. Sometimes, you two just need someone to shut you up.'

He laughed and let you go.

'You're right.' He admitted. 'I hope you're hungry! I prepared your favourite dinner.' He smiled before walking back towards your mum.

Luckily, your parents were smiling and fooling around. It made you happy to see that they were okay. You hoped that one day you could be as happy with someone.

'Y/N, we could use some help.' Your mother said.

You smiled and joined them..
