Leah’s P.O.V.
I grinned with enthusiasm and crossed my arms as I swiveled around to see the looks on the boys’s faces. As expected, they were shocked into speechlessness. When the song finished, I cleared my throat to get their attention back on me, “Sooooo…what’d you think?” I’m pretty sure I looked smug to them, but in my head, I was so proud of my Sage that I could barely contain the joy. I was so grateful for the boys giving her the opportunity and putting their trust in me to know what would help them the most in the fan’s eyes.
I looked back to Sage and my heart ached a little bit. It felt cruel to not tell her my secret, but I needed to send her away before it was too late. She didn’t need to see me like that.
For now, I had to smile and put on a happy face. Pretend that everything was alright. I'm going to miss her so much.
