Both Jughead and Veronica were sitting in the student lounge, across from eachother. A decent distance apart.

"So, Forsythe, let's play a game, to get to know each other." Veronica crossed her legs.

I already know a lot about you. Jughead leaned back.

"20 questions, perhaps?" Veronica suggested.

"Sure. Whatever." Jughead replied.

"Great. Okay, I'll start us off." Veronica clapped her hands. "We'll start with a would you rather."

"Would you rather have Betty forever, or have any type of food that you want, whenever you want?" Veronica asked.

"Woah, okay, that's a bad way to start." Jughead sat up.

"Why? Can't choose? Figures. Also, you can't choose both, it's not an option." Veronica grinned.

"Fine. I'd rather have Betty." Jughead decided. "That won't stop me from eating a lot, though."

"Okay, my turn." Jughead said. "Are you-"

"Where even is Betty?" Veronica cut him off.

Jughead shrugged. "Sick, I guess."

"Sick? She would've called me."

"You know, not everyone has to let you know what they're doing." Jughead rolled his eyes.

Veronica's eyebrows furrowed. "You know, you should glue your eyes in place. They keep rolling around everywhere."

Jughead groaned in response. Veronica smiled, sweetly, at his reaction.

"Whatever. I stopped by her house early this morning to walk her to school. She was coughing and said she wasn't feeling well. So I went to school without her." Jughead explained. "And then I crashed into an abomination."

Veronica wrinkled her nose. "Atleast I know real manners."

"Anyways, just ask me the question." Veronica changed the subject, before it got disastrous.

Jughead leaned back down. "Are you gonna join the Ghoulies?"

Veronica scoffed. "Really? That's your question? Why the hell would I join the Ghoulies?"

"Don't know. But everytime they visit you at Pop's, you seem more convinced to join them than the previous day." Jughead explained.

That was a lie. He read it in her diary.

"Maybe I should join the Ghoulies. I wouldn't say that I'd be a good gang member, but if I do what they say, then maybe they could help bail Archie in return." He quoted, straight from the diary, in his head.

"Well, no. I'm not convinced enough. And trust me, it'll be forever until I fully am." Veronica denied.

"Also, here's my second question. What would you do if I did join the Ghoulies?" She asked.

"I already hate you enough." Jughead answered. "But if you did, then I would probably use and torture you just to get them to do stuff for us Serpents. If they even cared for you in the first place."

Torture? Veronica thought. Seeing Jughead every weekday is torture itself.

"If you really do read, how come I never see you read at school?" Jughead questioned.

"Because I need glasses to read books." Veronica responded. "Reading words on the chalkboard and reading questions on sheets is fine, but when it comes to books, I'm gonna need my glasses."

"So?" Jughead sat up. "Why can't you bring your glasses to school?"

"Trust me, I'd lose all my friends. Even Betty."

"Do you like playing video games, like Archie?" Veronica questioned.

"Occasionally. But, I'm a writer. So, not very often. I'd normally prefer going to the movies instead of playing video games." Jughead explained.

"That's a lie. Archie told me that one time you chose video games over going to the Bijou. And, during the time there was a new film playing."

"I have a reason. I didn't have anyone to watch the film with." Jughead reasoned.

"You need someone to go with? What, to hug you during the scary parts?" Veronica joked.
