"Gentleman my ass!" Veronica shouted. "You piece of shit."

"Okay, first of all, stop swearing." Jughead said, sitting in front of the fireplace.

"I will throw you into the fucking fire." Veronica said.

"Sure thing, sweetie." Jughead closed his eyes, relaxing.

"You didn't even give me the umbrella!" Veronica whined.

"You should get used to the rain. You should be, anyway. Doesn't it rain in New York?"

Veronica groaned.

"Okay, okay. Fine. You can have the umbrella. Let's go we're late for school." Jughead stood up.

"Are you kidding? Did you really think I'd trust you?" Veronica asked.

"Forgiveness does exist." Jughead pointed out.

He looked down at the angry Veronica. "Okay, fine. Do your worst, witch."

Veronica smirked. "Well, I'm supposed to wear my glasses all day, so how about," she thought for a moment.

"You go a whole day without that ridiculous beanie of yours." Veronica snatched it off his head.

"Without my beanie? That's weird." Jughead said. "Give it."

"No. It's going to stay here til' 12:30am." Veronica said.

"Whatever." Jughead said.

Veronica threw the beanie onto the dinner table, and put on her glasses.

"You're right, you do look hideous." Jughead smirked.

Veronica punched him lightly on the chest. "Shut up."

"I'm kidding. You look, I don't know, cute?"

The two walked back to the school. One hour late. With one umbrella, they were getting soaking wet.

During lunch, Veronica sat with Cheryl and Toni. She watched as Jughead sat at a table, alone.

The two have gotten stares from a bunch of people.

"Veronica." Cheryl said. "Nice glasses."

Veronica was taken back. Strange how Cheryl complimented her.

"And, Jughead doesn't have his beanie." Toni said. "That's really weird."

"Oh c'mon, TeeTee, he looks better now." Cheryl smiled. "In fact, how about we invite him over?"

"Cheryl, I don't think he wants to-"

"Jughead Jones!" Cheryl called.

I face palmed.

Jughead look over at us.

"Come sit over here!" Cheryl motioned her arm.

Jughead shook his head.

"Oh c'mon, you look so lonely." Cheryl said.

Jughead sighed. It is getting pretty lonely.

He shook his head. At one point of your life you've lived alone, you should be used to this.

He groaned, ignoring his conscience, and went over to sit with the girls.

As soon as he sat down, Reggie came over.

"Finally got rid of that beanie, huh? Good choice. You look better without it." Reggie said.

"Reggie." Veronica said. He looked down, sitting back down at his table.

"He's right though." Cheryl nodded.

Just then, Sweet Pea and Fangs Fogarty came in, and sat with us.

Sweet Pea looked at Veronica, and made a look.

"Why is she sitting here?" He whispered to Toni.

"She's a friend, Sweet Pea." Toni rolled her eyes.

"She's the daughter of a scum. She's not a friend."

"Actually, she's against her father." Toni said.

Sweet Pea looked over at Jughead. "And why isn't Jughead wearing his beanie?"

"I don't know." Toni replied. "I don't know all the answers."

Sweet Pea then proceeded to eat his lunch.
