A few hours after, Veronica was laying on the couch. She was reading a book.

When suddenly, there was a banging on her door.

She sighed before opening it. Seeing the Ghoulies.

"What now?" Veronica asked, clearly annoyed.

Malachai held up a bedazzled leather jacket with the word GHOULIES on the back. "You have to wear this for as long as you're with us."

Veronica glared at him. He just grinned, "turn around."

Sighing, Veronica turned her back to them. Malachai put the jacket on her.

"Remember, you have to wear it to school. We're watching, Lodge." He reminded her. Veronica groaned at the word school, she hated the fact that school starts again tomorrow.

"Whatever." Veronica replied, shutting the door.

The next day, Veronica woke up early to get dressed for school. Even putting on the tacky gang jacket.

When she went downstairs, she expected a specific beanie wearing weirdo to be there. Though he wasn't, she remembered that he moved out and now hated her.

She sighed as she walked out, on her way to school.

Once she got there, on her way to her locker in the hall, everyone was staring at her. Like she was from another planet. Like there was something strange written on her face. But instead, it was written on her back. The GHOULIES. To the many students of Riverdale High, Veronica was one of the last people to join a gang as bad as the Ghoulies.

In the halls, she and Jughead once made eye contact. He noticed what she was wearing, rolling his eyes and looking away. It hurt Veronica, but she didn't show it.

Jughead slammed his locker door, watching as Veronica walks to her locker. Like she was walking in slow motion.

He crossed his arms. She's really showing off that she's part of the Ghoulies.

He was then on his way to the student lounge. And once Jughead got there, he saw Betty and Archie sitting on the couch.

"Oh, hey Jug!" Betty smiled. "Where's V?"

"Uh," Jughead started, "we broke up."

Archie's eyes widened. "What?"

"Wha- Why? What happened?" Betty asked.

Jughead sighed, "Veronica joined the Ghoulies."

Betty gasped, and Archie's jaw dropped.

"Why would she join the Ghoulies?" Betty questioned. Jughead sighed, once again.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Jug." Betty hugged him.

"Yeah. I didn't know Veronica had it in her to do something like that." Archie looked down.

After he said that, Veronica had walked in. Her head was down, so she hadn't noticed them.

Once she looked up, seeing them, she stopped her tracks. Then turned around to walk out.
