"Lauren are you alright?" Draco asked helping me up.
"Yea. I'm just rushing to leave." I said taking his hand.
"Where?" He asked.
"I have to go to Snape's office." I said, leaving out the door.

I walked quickly to the office. I knocked on the door and Snape opened it. McGonagall and Ron were already in there. He was sitting in a chair and looked up at me. His eyes widened and his face went red. He looked away from me and at the ground. I took a seat on the chair next to him.
"Carrington and Weasley you will serve your detention with Hagrid." McGonagall said.

"Tomorrow at this same time." Snape said.

I shook my head yes. I glanced at Ron, he was looking down at his hands.

"Well you guys are free to go." McGonagall said,
opening the door. Ron walked out first, but it looked like he was waiting for me. I walked out and looked at him and smiled.

"Your mom sent me a letter."

"What!?!" Ron asked his eyes widening.

"Don't worry, she just said thanks."

We were walking down the hallway.
"And mentioned how much her ickle Ronnikins has talked about me." I said chuckling.

"I have no idea what she's talking about?"

"Maybe I'll see you this Christmas." I said looking at him and smiling.

"What do you mean?" Ron questioned chuckling.

"I mean you're mum invited me over for Christmas." I said smiling.
"She did?" Ron asked. "And what did you say?" He said kind of nervous.
"I told her I'd ask my parents." I chuckled. He smiled back and blushed.
Then Harry and Hermione walked out their common room. They smiled when they saw us talking.
"Hello Lauren." Hermione said smiling widely.
"Hello Granger." I said smiling.
"Hello Harry." I said giving him a soft smile.
He smiled at me. "Hello Lauren."
"I have to go Weasley. I'll see you tomorrow." I said smiling and waved goodbye at him. He smiled and waved numbly.
"Bye Granger."
"Bye Harry." I said and smiled at them.

"So you guys are talking again?" Hermione asked, smiling cheekily.
"I...don't know." Ron said smiling.
"I thought you weren't gonna talk to her." Harry said
"I wasn't! Sh-she manipulated me." Ron said crossing his arms.
"Really? Cause you looked pretty happy talking with her." Hermione said.
"Yea well..." Ron said looking at the distance. Where Lauren was walking away. "...I guess I was." Ron said smiling.

They all walked back into the common room.
"Why is our Ronnikins so smiley all of a sudden?" George asked walking up to them.
"Did you forget Georgie? He was gonna see
Ms. Lauren Carrington today." Fred said nudging Ron.
"Aw yes that explains it Freddie." George said
"Will you two come off it." Ron said rolling his eyes. "She just said hi to me."
"Really all that smile for a simple hello?" Hermione said with the same cheeky smile.
"We just talked." Ron said smiling.
"She looked nice today." Harry said dazing off.
"Yea. I guess she did." Ron said back, slightly annoyed.
"What did she say?" Hermione asked
"Nothing much. She said she might come over for Christmas dinner." Ron said blushing.
"You're joking?" Harry said smiling.
"She already wants to meet the family?" Hermione said chuckling.
"Well she already knows half of it." George said.
They laughed.
"I'm off to bed. It's getting late." Hermione said walking away.
"So are you two good again?" Harry asked
"I don't know, maybe, I guess." Ron said looking worried.
"Did you tell her you were upset?" Fred asked.
"No. Cause I wasn't." Ron said shrugging it off.
"Alright." Fred and George said in unison.
Harry and Ron walked up to their beds. Ron couldn't sleep he was too... excited. He didn't know why but he was.
