Mrs. Weasley was Huring the children out the door. They had to split up into groups as a precaution. The twins and Ginny went with Remus. Ron and Hermione went with Mrs. Weasley and Danie and Harry went with Mrs. Weasley and Tonks who transformed herself to look like an old lady. Sirius was in his dog for against the will of Dumbledore following close behind them. Before long they were at Kings Cross station waiting for the other st arrive. A tall chocolate skinned boy with dreadlocks walked over to harry and Danie. "Nice dog, Harry" he said. "Thanks lee,!" Sirius wagged his tail happily. Danie held back a laugh. Lee gave Danie a hug. "I'll come find you on the train" she told him. "see you then Potter" Lee got onto the train. Not long after the others arrived. Hugs and hand shakes went around. Danie was hugging Remus tight. "Be safe" he whispered to her. " You too" she kneeled down and pet Sirius head. " Stay out of trouble padfoot" he gave a joyful bark as a response. The all hurried into the train. " See you !" Harry yelled out the window. Everyone except Danie and Hermione laughed at Sirius running and jumping asking the train as it started to move. " He shouldn't have come" Hermione said, worry in her voice. " Lighten up. He hasn't seen daylight for months, poor bloke" Ron said. " Well" Fred clapped his hands together. " Can't stand around chatting all day, we've got business to discuss with Lee. See you later" the started to walk down the corridor. "Commingled Danie" George called disappearing to a compartment to the right. Danie ruffled Harry's hair. " I'll see you later" she smiled at him and walked off to where the twins disappeared to. She opened the compartment door and closed it behind her. " oh shut it!" George yelled and had a flushed face. " What did you do?" Danie asked crossing her arms and look ii ng at Fred and Lee. " We didn't do anything but tell George the truth" Fred said leaning back in his seat beside George. Danie took a seat beside Lee. "did he tell you that you're rubbish at cleaning because that is entirely true. For the both of you" Danie smirked at them. " I could have told you that. Have you seen our dorm!" Lee laughed. " It's good to see you Lee. How was your summer?" Danie gave him a small hug. " Pretty uneventful. My parents are freaked about...uh..well you know.... Anyway they didn't want us to go anywhere so we stayed home this summer" Lee had a bit of an anxious expression. "At least their being safe" Danie said " so what did you lot do?" He asked. " Come up with any new pranks and or inventions." That was more directed at the twins." They were helping me and my uncle move into a new, very old house. They found plenty of poisonous and dangerous substances" Danie said disprovingly. " We nicked some Doxys". " Their teeth are poisonous!" They twins said excitedly. They started to talk about their skiving snack boxes. " So I say we hang a poster up on the notice board in the common room and anyone who wants to be a tester can come and sign up" Fred explained. " Sounds good. We've already tested them ourselves but we need to know if the effects differ based on the person" George explained. " Sound good" Lee grinned. " Hermione is going to kill you" Danie said in a single song voice for behind her rather thick book. She had been reading well they boys talked. Expressing her opinion on the subject form time to time. " She'll have to catch us first" Fred nudged George the 2 of them smiling like idiots. " You're not going to tell her are you Danie?" Lee said in a suggestive tone. " I won't tell but if you use those wildfire whiz-balls I'm letting her reek havoc on you 3" Danie stated. " Don't act like you weren't involved" Fred smirked. " We where only able to make them because of the Phoenix sparks you gave us" George added. " I spared you two from making fools of yourself. Trying to get the sparks yourselves , simple as that." She closed her book, standing up and placed it back in her trunk. " We should change into our uniforms, we'll be there soon" Danie pulled out her uniform and robe. " Feel free to change here" Fred smirked. " In your dreams Weasley" Danie flipped her hair. " It's someone's dream" Lee let out a laugh. Danie left for the girls bathroom and changed. Her uniform fit her perfectly. She smiled at her Gryffindor tie. She gathered the top half of her strawberry blonde hair and tied it with an elastic. She slipped on her robe and walked back to the compartment. The boys had all changed clothes. Their ties hanging loosely around their necks. " I do miss that Beauxbaton uniform of yours" Fred winked. " I quite like this one. And if you don't stop hitting on me I'm going to curse you" she said seriously. Lee and George started laughing. Danie felt a force thrust her. She fell over into George. She blew some hair out of her face. " It would appear that the train has stopped." Danie stood up and brushed herself off. "Shall we" Danie said as she walked out if the company. Lee, Fred and George followed close behind. When she got off the train she noticed a grumpy looking lady calling forth the first years. " What's that old hag doing here?" Fred said from behind her. "Hargid usually leads the first years to the boats" George explained. " Maybe he's sick?" Lee said in an unconvinced voice. Danie watched the woman lead the first years away to the boats. " Common Danie were goin to have to walk to the school if you don't hurry up" Fred called out. " Sorry, coming" Danie called out . She ran up to them. She shook off the unsettling feeling she had in the pit of her stomach. "This is so exciting! My first year at Hogwarts" she said happily as they waited for a carriage. " You were here last year" Lee said smiling at her. " Yes but I wasn't here at the start of the year. I transferred remember" "oh yeah" Danie rolled her eyes and smiled. A carriage arrived." Oh Thestrals, how lovely" Danie walked over to the black skeleton horse like creature. She pet it's dragon like shout. " Uh...Danie what are you doing?" Asked Lee. She stopped petting the Thestrals. She looked at the three boys who looked at her as though she had lost her mind. Petting thin air. " I forgot. You can't see them can you, Thestrals are magical horse like creatures that can only be seen by those how have witnessed death. " Danie explained. The boys exchanged looks and got into the carriage. Danie quickly joined them and the carriage started movie. " So what are your big plans for this year?" Danie asked breaking the awkward silence. " No sure yet. ". " But is gonna be big" the twins smirked to eachother. " Our last year. Do you know what you're going to do after you graduate?" Lee and the twins were smiling almost evil smiles. " Open the joke shop of course" the twins said in unison. " And I'm going to help them with their joke shop" Lee said proudly. " Oh course, I shouldn't have suspected otherwise" Danie shook her head slightly. Crossing her legs and placing her hands in her lap. "Ok, well what do you want to do Mrs. Prim and proper" Fred teased. " Well if you really do want to know, I was thinking of becoming an aura" she said the last part a little shyly. "Do little bit of field work and then I'd like to become a permanent defense against the dark arts teacher here at Hogwarts" "Professor Potter" Fred said dramatically. Using is hands to emphasize the name. " You have to admit it had a nice ring to it" George said. Lee nodded in agreement. "Though who knows if you'll get hired associating with such troubling-" "Marauders" Danie finished Lee's sentence. The all smiled at eachother in a knowing kind of way. Soon enough they had reached the school grounds. Fred, George, Lee then Danie got out of the carriage one by on. George helped Danie out of the carriage. Placing his hands on her waist and lifting her slightly then placing her on the ground. " Such a gentalman" Fred swooned. " Bugger off" George told him. Lee and Danie exchanged Smiles. Danie walked excitedly into the great hall. "Beautiful" she whispered to herself. "Common let's get seats " Lee lazily through his arms around Danie's shoulder. He was a fair bit taller than she was, this position made it very obvious. She smiled brightly and the four of them took a seat. Fred and George on one side and Lee with Danie opposite to them. The four long house tables are now filled. The first years pulled into the center of the hall. McGonagall placed the sorting hat on the stool. The hall fell quite as the sorting hat sang it's song.
