The final chapter to this book will be posted tomorrow. And yes there will be a sequel for all those who want to know.

Love you guys from the absloute bottom of my heart. You guys have literarly become my family throughout this process. Why am I so sad to end this tomorrow? * goes and cries* Enjoy y'all.

AUGUST P.O.V. –

All the graduates of my particular college were in a room designated for us to put on robes and wait until they were ready to take us outside until the graduaton.

“My mother is getting on my damn nerve. Stacy fix your dress. Stacy fix your robe. Stacy are you nervous? Are you this, are you that? Shut up!” Stacy screamed.

I just sat in a metal folding chair with my black graduation robe on, twirling my hat in my hand.

“How did the dinner go?” She picked lint outta my hair.

“I don’t feel like talking about.” I sighed, still twirling my hat.

“You like this pretty necklace and earrings?” She moved her hair to show me. It was a beautiful diamond necklace set, but I know who bought it so I didn’t respond.

“You know Amb got this for me. I think this how rappers feel when they get their first chain.” She slightly laughed.

She sat on my lap. “Where is Amber anyway? I just knew she’d be back here until the time you walked on stage. Y’all like Siamese twins at the hip.”

“I got a speech to do and I don’t know what I’m going to say. Half that speech was about Amber. The other half Mel. But she don’t deserve to be mentioned nowhere near his fucking name.”

“Oh my God. You guys are worse that Chris Brown and Karrauche. I noticed you took all her pictures off your Instagram. Y’all will be back together by tonight.” She patted my leg and got up.

“She defended my brother killer Stac. Ain’t no back together.”

“She what?” I saw Stacy’s mouth dropped.

“Smoke recognized her and so did my mother. But my mother lied to me. And Amb didn’t even share that shit with me.”

“Maybe she didn’t know Aug. I know Amber and if she knew she would’ve told you. And on top of that she didn’t know you at the time.”

“It don’t matter. You against my blood, you against me.”

“August you can’t throw away everything you built in your relationship over this.”

“What you mean throw it away?” I stood up.  “She don’t mean shit compared to my brother. You think this shit tatted on my arm is a fucking game.” I showed her the tat on my arm that is dedicated to my brother. “And this.” I showed her the bang, bang Tat. “This is for my cousin that ruined his life so I could be here. We promised never to let somebody come against family. Unh-unh. I’m not breaking that promise.”

“You got her on your back too Aug.”

“Yeah, well I’m getting that shit removed.”

People in the dressing area had started to look at us, so we lowered our voices.
