Younghyun's POV

Dowoon tapped us off, and then it happened. My music, my song, was being played. And not just by me, but by four other people too.

I was so caught off guard from the feeling off shock, I almost missed the vocal entrance for the first verse.

"I don't even know how I can talk to you now."

I saw everyone's heads turning, with their heads nodding to the beat as I kept singing.

"It's not you, the you who talks to me anymore,
And sure I know that sometimes it gets hard,
But even with all my love, what we had,
You just gave it up."

Everyone was playing amazingly. As if they've played this song before. Wonpil's fingers moved with the keys so smoothly and easily, Jae and Sungjin has no trouble playing the song, and Dowoon looked like he's played this rhythm at least a million times over.

"Thought we were meant to be,
I thought that you belonged, to me.
I'll play the fool instead,
Oh but then I know that this is the end,"

The build-up to the chorus was coming from everyone. Everyone's playing progressively grew not just with more volume, but with more passion and strength.

"Congratulation, glad you're doing great,
Congratulations, how are you okay,
How could you be so fine,
I can see it in your eyes,
The same look that you gave me that kills me inside, oh"

Dowoon and Jae were basically head banging to the song, enjoying every second of playing and making this music. Wonpil was grinning ear to ear and still playing every note on point.

"I don't even need to ask yeah,
I know you too damn well yeah,
Can see that smile and
Can tell you did more than move on,

I hate that you're happy,
I hope that you can't sleep,
Just knowing that I could be with somebody new,
That I'd be just like you."

I held up my hands to cut off everyone else.

"So, yeah, that's the basics of the song. The rest is just different lyrics, but it's basically the same melody throughout. Now we just need to divide up the vocal part amongst each other and then-"

Jae interrupted me. "K," He looked me dead in the eyes. "You wrote that?"

Everyone else looked at me with the same pending question in their eyes.

"Yeah," I finally answered. "I did."

"Dude," Dowoon said. "That like, hit me." Everyone else nodded and agreed with his statement.

"When did you write that?" Wonpil asked.

"A couple years ago. It was one of my first songs. And now it'll be one of our first songs!" I said, attempting to change the mood.

Sungjin looked at me and then looked away. He's heard this song before. I wrote it when a girl broke my heart. It hurt me so much, I wrote a song about it.

"Well," I turned to everyone. "What does the leader have to say?" I said, with my head turning in Sungjin's direction.

"I like it, we should do this." Sungjin said calmly. He smiled a little just to show us that he wasn't mad or lying or anything.

Everyone cheered. "Okay!" I said. "Well then, let's assign vocal parts while we're still at it!" I grabbed a piece of paper I had with a copy of the lyrics and pulled out some highlighters.

"Four vocalists, four highlighters." I said, showing a yellow, blue, pink, and green highlighter. "Everyone pick a color."

"Pink," came from Sungjin.

"Yellow," was heard from Jae.

"I'll take blue," Wonpil quietly said.

"Then that means I get green." I said under my breath. "Okay, so opening the song? Who should be the one to do that?"

"First impressions, huh?" Jae started. "Don't mean to brag, but I'm a bit, what you could call, stellar, at first impressions." Jae smiled his cocky grin at us.

I rolled my eyes and highlighted the first verse in yellow. "Next?"

"I think if we have someone like Jae singing the opening, we should have someone help dial down whatever he's brought to the table," Sungjin said. "I'll take the next part."

I highlighted the hook in pink. "Okay, and then, the chorus? Who should sing that?"

Dowoon chimed in from the other side of my bedroom. "Hey man, not to sound weird or anything but I almost cried hearing you sing that. I think you should sing the chorus." Everyone else started agreeing with and insisted.

I smiled at their statements and grabbed the green highlighter, highlighting the first part of the chorus.

"So," I continued. "The chorus basically has three parts, so I'll take this first part. Anyone up for second?"

Sungjin looked over at the lyrics, and then nodded. "I'll take it." I highlighted the second part of the chorus in pink.

"Hey," I said. "Wonpil hasn't had anything highlighted for him yet." I looked over at the shy guy sitting at the edge of my bed, with his hands interlocked and his legs crossed.

He looked at me like he didn't hear what I said and needed me to repeat it. "What? Oh no, it's fine, whatever you guys want to give me, I'll take."

I smiled at him. "Okay, well you're taking the last part of the chorus, dude. It's okay to say something." I told him.

"It's fine, really," He said.

I highlighted the last part of the chorus in blue and looked at everyone.

"So, let's do the rest of this?"
