Anjali...do you wanna go somewhere?" He asked, popping his head in her room as she talked to mahesh.

"I'll talk to you later Mahi." She said as she smiled at Adhi who was staring at her as soon as he heard the name Mahi.

"Yeahh.. Where?" She asked.

"Just wanted to meet a few friends." He said.

"Oh.. why me?" She asked.

"They wanted to see my wife." He said.

"Ohh..ok." she said.

"Who's Mahi?" He asked.

"My friend"

"Which friend?"

"The guy friend who dropped me here the other day."

"He seems dangerous. Stay away."

"Don't tell me who to stay away from." She smiled.

Soon after, They left to meet his friends. As soon as they entered, everyone gathered around them.

"So you're the great Anjali everyone's been talking about?" A girl asked.

"Everyone?" She asked.

"As soon as we found out about Adhi's marriage in secret, y'all were the talk of the whole friend group. It seems like he finally found the one." She said,

"Ohh..and I'm Kaily by the way..."

"I'm Justin... Adhi's best friend since childhood." another guy said.

"Let me just introduce all of you." Adhi said before anyone else could speak.

"These are people I've grown up with. They are not celebrities but a big part of my life." Adhi said, looking at Anjali.

"The remaining three over there are Jenny, Yasper, and Marlin." He said as his three friends waved at her.

"You're way prettier than that Anh he used to bring," Jenny said.

"Can y'all stop bringing her up?" Adhi asked.

"Don't lose the gem you already found, Adhi.." Kaily said,

"I won't don't worry." He said as Anjali looked up at Adhi.

What did that have to mean? He just broke up with this girl he was planning on getting married to last night. There is no way he'd like her that quickly.

As Anjali was talking to them, she received a call from Mahesh.

"Mahi..I'm out with Adhi.. can I talk to you later?" She asked.

"Why him? I don't even like the look of him." He said.

"Oh my god... you just don't know him." She said as she turned around and found Adhi right behind her.

"Adhi..." She said as he saw a hint of jealousy in his eyes.

"Mahi.. I'll talk to you later." She said.

"Noo waitt.... You're free tonight?" He asked.

"Uhm...not really." She said.

"What do you do spending the whole day with that star?" He asked.

"Whyy..just tell me why you want to see me and then I'll try to make it if it sounds reasonable." She said,

"I need help... with that topic we covered last week." He said.

"I'll help you when we meet on campus on monday?" She said as she watched adhi's jealousy turn into anger. His palm curled into a fist and his eyes were pretty red.

"Adhi.." His friends called him as he turned around to leave.

"Fine...tonight." She said.

"I'll come over." She said as she noticed Adhi looking at her even when he was in the middle of a conversation with his friends.

She gave him a smile and he smiled back almost immediately. His anger and jealousy vanished and looked at her with a pure smile.

"I gotta go see Mahesh tonight. He needed some help." She said.

"He's coming over or..."

"I'm going to his house." she said as his face remain reactionless.

"Can't he come over to our house?" He asked.

"Why?" She asked.

"It's not safe Anjali.." he said.

"What's not safe?" She asked.

"He seems interested in you." He said.

"You met him once and you magically know?" She asked glaring at him.

"Guys know it when another guy is eying his girl." He said.

"What?" She asked.

"No...like we just know when another guy likes someone." He said.

"Ok... since you're requesting so kindly... I'll ask him to come over." She said.

"Thank you." He smiled.
