Belial's POV

"Belial" my name flowed from her mouth as she tested it out. A small smile overtaking her face, making her look even more exquisite.

Marking her with a blood oath had sealed her fate with mine. Tainting her pure soul by bonding ours together ensured that she couldn't belong to any other, demon or human, it didn't matter. Her violet eyes were a unmistakable sign to all of those that saw her. Jaclyn definitely didn't know what I had planned for her, but she'll figure it out sooner than later and that's what I'm looking forward to. One isn't simply known as the deceiver for no reason, it's a title well deserved.

"Belial...." Her soft voice called again, bringing me out of my thoughts, the sound of my name coming out of her mouth made it sound almost erotic. Hooded violet eyes looked right back into my own.

"Yes Jaclyn?"

She wiggled slightly against me, trying to loosen my grip on her. I held her tightly in place, not ready to let her go just yet, her soft skin flush against my own.

"I was wondering if there's a ladies room around here. I um.. I have to go." A pink blush flared across her cheeks in embarrassment, giving her an air of innocence.

Chuckling to myself I relinquished my grip on her, allowing her to move away. Climbing of the bed I grabbed firmly onto her hand. "Let me show where it is. I'll give you a quick tour of your living quarters and the rest of the palace before super if you'd like one."

"That would be nice." She smiled shyly up at me.

Pulling lightly on her hand, I led her out of the room into the parlor. Thick red rugs lay on dark grey marble floors, while priceless artwork hung along the stone walls of the room. Jaci's mouth hung open slightly, making an o, as she gazed around the luxurious room.

"This is your parlor, which connects to your living room and bathroom. If you'd like to take a moment to yourself before we continue on you may." Gesturing in the direction of the bathroom I watched as she scampered off, the sexy sway of her hips catching my gaze as she walked away.

Jaclyn's POV

Hurrying to the bathroom I flung open the door. I slumped against it for a moment, trying to collect my wild thoughts.

What does he mean all of this belongs to me? I thought I was going to be tortured or killed once I got here, he's a demon after all...

Confusion fogged my mind, I really didn't know what to expect anymore. Spotting the toilet I took a quick moment, washing my hands after I ran a hand over the gold sink I couldn't help but feel like I was dreaming. The bathroom had a massive clawfoot tub, a small glass chandelier hung from the vaulted ceiling and had a shower large enough to fit 6 people comfortably. Drying my hands off on a thick towel, I walked back into the parlor to where Belial stood waiting for me.

"Are you ready to see the rest of your living quarters?" He asked as I reached his side.

"I'm ready. Thank you for waiting for me."

Grabbing onto my hand, his large one encircled my own as he lead me forward. Walking through the parlor he lead me into the living room, this room significantly larger than the parlor. Plush leather couches sat in front of a stone fireplace, a small kitchenette and pair of French doors lined one wall, a large mahogany bookshelf lined the opposite wall. The French doors opened into a small private garden, exotic flowers lined a cobblestone path that lead to a granite fountain. The smell of the flowers filled the air and I couldn't help but look around the garden in appreciation. The entire place was beautiful and in all honesty there was nothing I enjoyed more than sitting outside reading one of the few books I owned. It allowed me a chance to escape the horrors of my own life for a little bit as I was brought into a different world through reading. Belial led me back into the living room and to a heavy wooden door in the corner of the room I hadn't noticed earlier. Pulling out a set of keys he separated a golden one from the others and put it into the lock on the door. Pausing he stared intently at me, his brows furrowed as he spoke.

"Jaci you are only to leave your living quarters under my express permission. Once we leave this room you are not to speak to anyone unless I say you can. Do you understand me?"

"Yes."

"Good. Also don't forget that you need to refer to me as master or my Lord once we exit this room. If you disobey me I will have punish you and I doubt that's something you want." With that he turned the key and led me out of the room into a dark hallway, little only by a few sparse lights

Remaining close behind him I followed as he lead me down a the long hallway. Walking around a sharp corner I found myself stepping through another door into a large bedroom, this one decorated with rich dark wooden furniture.

"This is my personal room, it's also the only way into your living quarters. Follow me and I'll show you the rest of the palace."

A heavy golden door lead out to the top of a grand staircase that gave me a broad view of the surrounding palace. A massive golden chandelier hung from vaulted ceiling, blood red rubies glistening as they reflected off of the lights, giving the room an eerie red glow. Belial led me down the grand staircase into the dining room, where dinner was supposed to be served shortly.

Several scantily clad humans were bustling quickly the room as they set the table for dinner . Bronze cuffs wrapped around each of their wrists and I felt myself wonder what the cuffs were used for.

"The bronze cuffs mean they are palace slaves, free for others to use as they please. Though I prefer they don't kill them, it's too difficult to train the slaves to my preference. Typically they are casualties of the wars who were sacrificed to me by their families in exchange for their own well-being." He answered nonchalantly, almost as if he read my mind.

Continuing onward he showed me the rest of the palace. Each room as richly decorated as the last, the wealth contained within the palaces walls was almost overwhelming. After we finished the lengthy tour he lead me back to the dining room, which was now starting to fill up slowly with different demons and other dark creatures. Creating a scene that would scare my childhood nightmares senseless. Walking in closely behind him a hushed silence overtook the room as they began to notice my presence.

Careful to keep my eyes cast downwards, I hurried behind Belial as he led me to the front of the table. Pulling out two chairs he indicated for me to sit in the smaller ornate gold chair that was to the right of his. Slipping into the seat I let out a small sigh of relief as I settled into the chair, keeping my eyes intently focused on the fine china sitting on the table in front of me. The hushed voices from the growing group of creatures was the only sound in the room, besides the occasional sound of glasses clinking. Every once in a while I was able make out a voice or two mentioning me, loud whispers of a violet eyed human and marked one seemed to have dominated the conversation at the table.

I still didn't fully understand what being a "marked one" meant, but in all honesty I really didn't give a damn. My now soul belonged to Belial and there wasn't anything I could do to change that now. My life was literally putty in his hands, to mold however he desired.

A loud bang brought my attention upwards as the dining room doors crashed against the wall. A giant of a man stormed into the room, strawberry blond hair brushing across his face as he made his way in our direction. Quickly closing the distance he pulled out the seat to Belial's left, shooting me a quick glare as he settled himself into the seat, his blue eyes so pale they almost appeared white.

"Luca it's nice you've graced my home with your presence. May I ask what caused you to visit unannounced?" Belial's face contorted so that his teeth were as sharp as razors, shooting Luca an ominous stare.

Leaning back in his chair Luca stretched his legs out in front of himself, completely at ease, despite Belial shooting daggers his way.

"Well dear brother I wanted to see what was so great about your marked girl."
