Recap

Jaci didn't know what to think as her mind became clouded with lust, his deft light fingers trailed up and down her sides. The food completely forgotten as she loosened his grip on her waist and turned to face him. His smoldering eyes mirrored the want in her own and she couldn't help but wonder why he was so caring and tender with her. What person in their right mind would have believed a pitifully weak human like her would be treated almost lovingly by such a deadly and powerful demon as he was.

As if sensing her doubt he leaned in and brought his lips to hers, causing all of her doubts to vanish.

The second his lips brushed against hers he felt his inner demon try to fight it's way forward. Jaci seemed to melt against him as he deepened the kiss, sliding his tongue between her parted lips he dominated the kiss. Stroking his tongue firmly against hers, he couldn't contain his inner demon for much longer, his nails began lengthening as she pushed against him. Breathlessly she grabbed tightly onto his shoulders, pulling herself flush against his chest him as a pleasurable shiver went down her spine. Belial's large hands slid down her side until they came to rest on her shapely hips, the heat from his hands seemed to burn through the towel as he grabbed her and pulled her into his lap. A low moan escaped her throat as he loosened the towel that was wrapped around her, slowly trailing his clawed fingers lightly up and down her back.

Pulling back he looked down at her, somewhat amazed that she was so willing to kiss a horrid beast like him. Bright violet eyes peered back into his own, lust clearly evident as she looked up at him through hooded lids. Jaci unconsciously leaned into him, not liking the distance that he'd created by pulling away from their kiss. Lifting a hand he wrapped her luscious black hair around it, bringing his lips back down to her own. Tugging lightly on her hair, he tilted her head back so he could have better access to her plump lips, brushing light kisses down along her jaw.

Moving her head to the side, Belial began trailing feather light kisses along the dark bruises along her neck.

"I'm sorry this happened to you Jaclyn, I never meant for you to get hurt." Confusion flooded her eyes momentarily before a flutter of recognition crossed her face.

"It wasn't your fault for what happened earlier Belial, that was Luca's doing."

"No I am meant to keep you safe, I welcomed my brother into my home and look what happened. I should have known he'd try to do something like this."

Running his thumb over the bruise that marred the delicate skin on her neck Jaci thought she saw a flicker of guilt flash through his crimson eyes. Why would he feel bad? Sure she'd been attacked in his home but she was just his property, not anything more, and it was time she realized that. Trying to clear the last bits of remaining lust from her mind she lifted her eyes so that she was starting deeply into his.

"Master, there's no fault to be laid on you. If anything it's my fault for putting myself in that situation, I never should have left my bedroom last night."

A low growl emitted from his throat as he unconsciously gripped his hand tighter in her hair, angered by the fact she actually believed it was her fault for what happened with Luca. Jaclyn was his and whoever harmed her would have to deal with his wrath, all the better reason for him to find his brother, who'd been long gone from the castle by the time he'd finished dealing with the hellhound. Jaci trembled in his arms, eyes wide with fear as she looked upon his furious expression, she'd hadn't meant to make him angry with her.

"What happened last night wasn't your fault little Jaci and I don't want to hear you say otherwise. Do you understand" His tone of voice left her no room for argument.

"Yes master I understand" Jaci meekly replied, her voice coming out in barely a whisper as she bowed her head downwards in acknowledgment.

"Good. Now that you've eaten I have a few things I need to discuss with you."

Without waiting for her reply he got off of her bed and made his way over to the closet. Jaci felt cold now that she was no longer wrapped tightly in his embrace, rubbing her hands along her arms she attempted to get a little bit of warmth from the friction the action caused. A few minutes passed before Belial walked out of the closet, carrying a plush robe in his arms as he made his way back over to her.

"Here Jaci put this robe on, I don't need you catching a cold." Reaching forward he wrapped her in the robe, tying it tightly in place. If she'd stayed naked any longer he didn't know if he'd have been able to stop himself from sampling more than just a few kisses and caresses, his inner demon was already fighting to be free from his human flesh. Sitting down on the edge of the bed he turned to face her.

"Thank you. What did you want to talk about?"

"I want to know everything that you remember from last night. What did Luca say to you before you were attacked."

"He said he wanted to know what made me so special that you'd mark me as yours. Apparently he said you've never marked someone before and he wanted to find out why my soul was unique. Luca told me he needed to go through my memories to find out and he said he'd tell me what the reasoning was for you sealing our deal with your blood and why my eyes were violet." Belial tensed beside her as she talked.

"Did he tell you what those things meant?" He spoke slowly, almost as if he feared what her answer could be.

"No, after he went through my memories he told me that if he saw me after last night he'd tell me." Jaci couldn't help but be a little bit confused as she watched his shoulders relax.

"Did you let him go through your memories? He can't go into your mind unless you let him willingly."

"I'm not exactly certain if I willingly let him, one minute we were talking and the next moment I felt myself almost compelled towards him. By the time I realized what was happening he was already going through my memories, he watched when we first met master." She couldn't help but begin to feel nervous as he looked intently at her, his eyes unblinking as he seemed to be looking into her very soul as he stared into her eyes.

As if sensing her unease her gave her a small smile before wrapping his large hands around hers, bringing them up to his lips he gently kissed her knuckles before letting go off her hands.

"No need to be nervous around me Jaci, I've hopefully shown you that I'll never physically hurt you. My brother Luca has the power of compulsion and he's been known to do exactly what he did to you before. "

Standing up he moved so that his legs were on each side of hers, holding out a hand to her. Reaching out she placed her hand in his, letting out a gasp as she found herself pulled upwards into his arms, lifting her off of her feet so that he was cradling her to his broad chest. Turning around he began to head towards the bedroom door, causing her to nervously squirm in his hold.

"Where are we going master?"

"These quarters are no longer safe for you, especially after last nights events. I need to remove you from here." Jaci felt her heart sink in her chest at his words, she didn't want to be far away from him. Belial was quickly becoming her safety net and she wasn't sure what would happen to her when he no longer wanted her around.

"May I ask where I'll be staying master?"

"From now on Jaclyn you'll be staying with me in my living quarters." With those last words Belial carried her out of her room towards his own.
