As we pulled up to the gates my stomach dropped. I felt the sudden urge to throw up. This didn't feel right. This felt bad. Something bad was going to happen.

The truck pulled into the gates. Rosita glared at us. I held my head down low. Negan opened the truck door, "C'mon kids, let's go." I got out of the truck. He knocked on the door, Olivia answered the door, "Oh."

"Where's Rick?" Negan asked Olivia. "Uh, I-I'm just-" "Don't care, Wheres Rick?"

She bit her lip, "He's um, out scavenging for you."

Negan smiled, "Cool, Ill wait."

"He went out pretty far, They might not be back today. We're running pretty low on everything. We're practically starving here." Olivia was trying her best to make Negan leave or lose interest.

Negan began laughing, "Starving? You? By "practically" you mean "not really"." Olivia began crying. I glared at Negan, "What the actual hell is wrong with you?" I said coldly. "Really? You people seriously don't have a sense of humor."

I scoffed, "Excuse me?"

"What's your name?" Negan asked Olivia. "Olivia." She replied, sniffling.

"Right." He began, "Olivia, I'm sorry for have been so rude to you just now. And it looks like i'm gonna be here for a while, awaiting your fearless leader's return. And if you'd like I think it would be enjoyable to screw your brains out. I mean, you know, if you're agreeable to it. I am about fifty percent into you now. Just sayin'." Negan chuckled. I looked at him in pure disgust. Olivia walked up to him, trembling, she slapped him.

Negan still chuckled, "All right well, Olivia be a lamb and make us some lemonade." He completely ignored the fact that she just slapped him. She quickly rushed into the kitchen. "Alright kids! Give me the grand tour."

We walked around the house, showing Negan around. When we got to Judith's room, I began tending up. "That's just a water heater in there." Carl told him.

"Seriously kid? Come on." Negan opened the door. "Oh-ho my. Look at this little angel." He walked towards her crib. He looked back at us, "Yours? She definitely doesn't look like a Grimes." He picked her up and she whimpered. "No."I choked out. "She's not." I didnt wanna put Judith in danger. If he found out that she was Rick's I would've feared for the worst.

Negan smiled. "Hot damn."He chuckled, cooing at her.

We moved the conversation to the porch. Negan sat in the rocking chair with Judith, Carl sat next to him. I stayed standing up, leaning against the ledge of the railing.

"Hey, neighbor." Negan waved, "Why don't yah come by later? We might grill out." He chuckled. He looked at Carl and I for a split second, "Oh I like it here." He hummed for a bit. "I might just have to stay here. You know," He repositioned Judith on his lap to get more comfortable, "I was thinking about what you said earlier, Carl. Maybe it is stupid keeping you and your dad alive, hell even Tessa. I mean, why am i trying so hard? Maybe I should just bury you and your dad, of course maybe Tessa but then again who would y'all care of this precious angel. And I could just settle into the suburbs." He looked at Judith, "What do you think of that." He cooed at her, placing a kiss on her forehead. I gulped.

Why didn't I just stay at Alexandria.
