Me, dad, mum, Exton and Avri were shopping. We are looking for some new house stuff in Ikea. I was pushing the shopping cart. Avri was sitting in the little stool thingy and Exton was in the cart. I just followed my parents like a lost puppy. Avri was making faces at me. So what does your typical older brother do. Make faces back. I stuck my tongue out, crosseyes, looked funny. Anything you could think off. Avri and Exton where laughing there little heads off. A little while later Exton asked if he could get out the cart. I looked at mum and she nodded. I stopped the cart and pulled him out. "Don't go running off. Stay close okay?" I asked before I let him go. He nodded his head and walked with us further. He saw something and suddenly darted of towards it. I quickly ran after him and grabbing his shirt collar. I stopped him and turned him around. "What did I tell you?" I asked calmly. He looked at me confused. "No running away" I said. He nodded but laughed at me. Knowing he knew what he wasn't allowed to do. "Let's go" I said grabbing his tiny hand in mine and walking back. Meanwhile I saw that dad was pushing the cart. I let go off Exton to help mom with some stuff. I turned around and saw him run away again. "Oh come on" I said running right after him. I stopped him again and this time I told him, that if he runs away again he is going in the cart. I took his tiny hand again and began to walk. Exton was having none of it, he screamed at the top of his god damn lungs trying to get loose. I ignored him, but the staring glares of other shoppers burned into me. Suddenly I felt something heavy hanging onto my arm. I looked back at Exton and saw he was on the ground. "Oh come on" I gritted my teeth looking at the toddler screaming. I picked him up and he started to hit me. I grabbed his hands and held them with one hand. He was screaming and struggling to get out my grip. "LET ME GO!!!!" He screamed, "no. You are going back in the cart because you couldn't stay with us. Eventhough we told you to" I calmly said. I came closer to the cart and put him in. He screamed louder and started to throw everything out the cart. "Hey. Exton stop that" I told him harsh. He just simply continued ignoring me. I rolled my eyes. "Just go further with shopping" I said. Dad looked confused. I grabbed Exton and walked out the store. Still screaming I walked closer to the truck. I sat him on the hood and sat down next to him and simply waited for him to calm down.

15 minutes later.

Exton wasn't screaming he was doing those hiccup cries. I turned to face him. "Are we done?-". He looked at me with red puffy eyes, sniffing his nose. "If we are we can go back inside to mommy, daddy and Avri. So we done?" I asked. He shook his head. Indicating he wasnt done throwing his tantrum. I shrugged my shoulders and looked away from him. "Guess we will have to wait here" I said. I grabbed my phone and started filming. "So me and this little dude are sitting on the hood of dad's truck because my little man was throwing a tantrum because he wasn't allowed to run around the store" I explained. "I'm okay with the kid screaming. For all I care he screams so loud that he breaks his vocal cords" I said sarcastic. "What Im not okay with is that he doesnt stop when asked to. So what my dad did with me when I was his age" I said adjusting my seat on the hood. "He took me out to the boring parking lot and simply waited untill we were behaved. I don't care. I don't have to shop with my parents. For all I care I'm here with him untill they come back" I said. I noticed Exton had stopped and looked around. "Are we done?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded. "Okay. Now wipe your handsome face. You got it all wet and messy" I said. He wiped his face with his hands. "And what do we do if we want all that sadness and anger to go away?" I asked him. "Happy dance" he said clapping his hands. I picked him from the hood so he wouldnt scratch it. I placed him down and he waited for my count down. "3.2.1. Happy dance!!!" I yelled shaking my hips, jumping. He did the same shaking his hips, going in circle's. After our little happy dance I picked him back up and walked back to the store. "See no need to scream or beat your kids. Just simply bore them and stay calm. So easy a teenager could do it" I said winking. "Say bye Exti" I said saying his nickname. He waved bye and I stopped recording. I pulled Exton onto my shoulders and walked back in the store. "Where's daddy and mommy?" I asked. Simply so he was entertaint. He squeeled, telling me he found them. I walked over to them and followed them. "Happy dance?" Dad asked me. "Yup. Works everytime after I bore him to death in the old parking lot" I said. Making dad laugh and shake his head. "Also. Remind me that I never want kids. To much" I said. "Oh but I want grand children" Dad said. "So they can get as sassy as you. No thanks" I said patting his back.
