Kim Taehyung hadn't designed a tattoo since his brother died, he simply couldn't find the inspiration.
Y/F/N couldn't face the scars that covered her body, they were a constant reminder of her tragic past and so she asked for his help.
Design her...
There was part of Y/N that was grateful to Taehyung for stopping this before it got too heated but then there was another part which felt disappointed because she so desperately wanted to feel his lips and fingers on her skin again.
What the hell was goingon here?

Taehyung sighed dramatically, flopping back on the couch with a Bolívar cigar between his long slender fingers.
"Hyung when you met Jess did you feel different?"

"Different how?" Namjoon was sitting on the armchair opposite, a book of poetry by Walt Whitman lay open across his lap.
"Different from other women, did you feel drawn to her on a deeper level? Did you instantly know she was the one?"
"I did yeah, I can't speak for all men or women for that matter because people have different experiences and thoughts on love but for me the moment I laid eyes on Jess something just clicked. It was like this sudden rush of warmth and realisation, that she was why my previous relationships never worked out. I was waiting for her, for that moment where we both swooped in to grab the last cupcake."
Taehyung knew how Jess and Namjoon met but never really asked his friend to elaborate on the finer details, he was glad he decided to do it now.
It was an adorable 'meet cute'
Finding your soulmate at the local bakery.
Falling in love over a cupcake.
Namjoon watched his friend, amused yet intrigued by his sudden interest.
"Why do you ask?"
Taehyung chuckled, digging around in his pocket for his favourite brushed chrome lighter.
"So you believe in love at first sight then?" Taehyung ignored the question and instead asked one of his own.
Namjoon didn't really need to ask who was awakening these feelings in Taehyung, he knew the moment Y/N stepped through the door of Kim Ink that his best friend was in trouble.
"I do, I felt something for Jess the moment we met and now look at me. I'm married to a beautiful woman and have my first child on the way, that's surely some kind of proof that love at first sight can exist."
Taehyung was laying on his back, feet planted flat on the couch with knees bent as he stared up at the ceiling.
"I've had two serious relationships in my life." Taehyung paused to light his cigar.
"I cared about them both, naturally I'm going to care about them because I was with them both for a long time but I could never bring myself to say I loved them. I guess that's why it never worked out, it just wasn't meant to be forever."
Namjoon hummed in agreement, suddenly craving a cigar of his own as the pleasant aroma greeted him.
It doesn't appeal to everyone but to him there was nothing better than a decent Cuban cigar, not that he could enjoy one anytime soon....he promised his wife that he would be on his best behaviour.
"Is Y/N making you feel something?" Namjoon cocked a brow inquisitively, watching as Taehyung's lips twitched at the corners.
"I just know that I've never felt this way before, I don't really know where to go from here. I don't want to seem too eager but don't want her to think I'm not interested, last night we shared the most erotic moment I've ever had with a woman. I didn't sleep with her, didn't even come close to that but just the way her skin felt under my fingers awakened something in me." Taehyung smiled, memories of the precious evening came flooding back and he savoured every single damn one.
"Is it crazy to feel like this? Is it obsession or something more raw....more genuine." Taehyung breathed out the smoke, tilting his head and watching as it twisted ever so gracefully above him.
"She hasn't left my mind since I first laid eyes on her." He shook his head, realising how pathetic and borderline creepy he sounded.
"Taehyung when it comes to love don't think so hard, don't stress about what is or isn't a right time to call. If it's meant to be, if she's truly the one then let things happen and just enjoy the ride."
Taehyung knew Namjoon was right, his friend had always known exactly what to say and how to set his mind at ease.
"So you're saying if I want to call her then I should just do it? That it doesn't matter if it seems too soon?"
Namjoon gave a nod. "That's exactly what I'm saying Tae, follow your heart but don't rush this. It's been a difficult few years for you, I don't want to see you hurt again."
Taehyung swallowed the lump in his throat, he didn't like to be reminded of what happened......of what he lost.
Was this what he wanted? Was he ready?
"Why does this have to be so complicated." He huffed, pushing himself up.
"You're only making it complicated because you're scared to open up, to let someone in. If you want to make this work with Y/N you've got to overcome your fears first. Think you can do that?"
Taehyung wasn't sure, this was completely overwhelming and totally unexpected.
Was it too soon?
Was what he felt obsession or something more?
Should he call her?
Did his future have a place for her?
Did his heart?
