Kim Taehyung hadn't designed a tattoo since his brother died, he simply couldn't find the inspiration.
Y/F/N couldn't face the scars that covered her body, they were a constant reminder of her tragic past and so she asked for his help.
Design her...
"I'm sorry about that, it was ridiculously dramatic." Taehyung chuckles as he walks side by side with his father through the garden.
"Taehyung there's nothing to be sorry for, you're still grieving and it certainly doesn't make you any less of a man in my eyes that you got upset."
"I know, it's just frustrating because I'm trying so hard to be strong."
"There's no expiry date when it comes to grief and we all have our own ways in which we cope with it, I'm no stranger to this and neither is your mother."
Taehyung selfishly forgets sometimes that he wasn't the only one who lost Jin, he's always so wrapped up in his own heartbreak that he doesn't stop to think about his parents....his parents who lost their eldest son.
"I'm sorry I left after the funeral, it wasn't fair of me to run away from you."
"Taehyung we don't hold it against you, we've always supported your decision to get your own place. I won't lie though, it was painful to see you pretend like everything was okay. I tried so many times as did your mother to reach out and offer support but whenever we did you always told us that you were fine."
Taehyung felt so ashamed, not once did he stop to think about what his parents must've gone through after Jin's funeral.
He left, he packed his things and left without even stopping to explain things to them. He was a coward, he ran away and left them to deal with an empty family home full of painful memories.
"I should've stayed." Taehyung whispered, eyes on his feet as they walked down the path leading to the stables.
"Staying wouldn't have made things any easier on you Taehyung, you left to grieve in the best way you knew how at the time."
"Yeah but what about you? What about mom? I just left, I didn't even give you guys a warning or explain things. I left a fucking note stuck to the refrigerator, told you I was going to spend a few days with Jimin and then just....never came back."
"It wasn't like you totally ignored us Taehyung, you still called us and we came to visit whenever we could."
"Yeah but that's not good enough dad, I should've been here with you.....I should've been a good son and helped you both move on."
The two reached the field that overlooked the stables, wooden fencing enclosing the area.

"Taehyung you're not a bad son, hot headed and stubborn at times....most definitely but you're certainly not bad." Mr Kim smiled fondly as he approached the fence, forearms resting across the top as he looked out over the field.
"I'm still sorry." Taehyung joined his father, the two men taking a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet.
"I accept your apology even though you don't need to give one." His father finally replied.
