Bonus Chapter One ~ Baby Seokjin

"Tink? You here baby?" Taehyung calls out as he pushes open the door to their apartment. "I got you marshmallows, will make you some hot chocolate later just the way you like it."

"I'm upstairs, just having a bath." Y/N replies, voice weary.

Their little bug certainly hadn't made things easy for Tink, the first few weeks she suffered massively with morning sickness and now was approaching four days overdue.

Taehyung had tried his best to be as supportive as possible, always there to sit beside Y/N and rub soothing circles across her back during the worst bouts of sickness. Never failing to make sure she had all her favourite snacks and was settled comfortably on the couch before he left for work each day. He even massaged her aching feet, put up with her incessant mood swings and did so with a smile. He felt like he owed that to her, she was the one who was carrying their first child and having to deal with all that came with it so surely it was the least he could do to make sure the experience was as positive and comfortable for her as possible.

It didn't always go so smoothly (which was to be expected), there were plenty of times where the two argued over silly things only to tearfully reconcile later. Moments where Taehyung was exhausted and called on Jimin or Jungkook to come over and share the responsibility of trying to cheer an extremely emotional Tink up, Taehyung will never forget the moment Jungkook agreed with Y/N that yes her ankles were indeed hideously swollen only for her to then break down in floods of tears and ask why he was saying such mean things to her.

"Taehyung help me, what do I do? She even said herself they were swollen, now she's sitting on the bed crying and telling me I'm a terrible person."

"This is on you Guk, don't get me involved." Taehyung had said, tone one of amusement as Jungkook's eyes widened.

"I'm never having children, pregnant women are terrifying." The younger had said as he braced himself at the bottom of the stairs, willing his feet to carry him back up to a still very upset Y/N.

So it was safe to say the pregnancy had been challenging, the two of them exhausted for different reasons but exhausted all the same.

Taehyung wouldn't change their situation for the world though, because with the emotionally draining moments came the uplifting ones. Times where the two would sit together side by side as Taehyung sang to their little bug, Y/N watching with fond eyes and the biggest of smiles. Moments where Y/N would be doing odd jobs around the apartment, lost in her own little world as she spoke to her bump, completely unaware that Taehyung was watching with so much love in his heart he thought it would burst right out of his chest.

So with the bad came the good and together as they promised from the beginning they stuck together, weathered any and all storms.

"No sign of movement yet?" Taehyung shouted up as he set the grocery bags down on the kitchen island.

"No, still as stubborn as ever."

Taehyung laughed at her reply as he started pulling out the groceries, leaving the marshmallows and cream out so he could start making his famous hot chocolate.

"I'll make you a hot chocolate now then, seems like plenty of marshmallows are needed too from how tired you sound."

"You can say that again, didn't manage to sleep much after you left for work. It's absolutely ridiculous, I'm so tired but just can't get comfortable and when you're not here it's even worse."

"I'm so sorry Tink, you know if I could stay home with you all day I would but ever since I started my own designs again we've been so busy."

"Baby please don't apologise, you're out there earning money for us and then coming home exhausted to deal with me. I can't imagine it's been easy, I know I've been a handful."
