"Shh." I said to Ryder as we hid behind the counter so Vanessa wouldnt see us.
"Oscar." We heard Vanessa call out as she walked into the house.
"Happy mothers day!" Both Ryder and i shouted as stood up.
Her eyes lit up once she saw us.
"Happy Mothers day mommy!" Ryder ran up to her and hugged her tightly.
"Awww thank you baby." She kissed him.
"Happy mothers day." I say as i hugged Vanessa.
"Thank you so much." She said softly as she looked at all the decorations in the kitchen.
"You guys are so cute." She smiled as she looked at the cake that read happy mothers day next to it was a mothers day card that Ryder made for her.
Ryder and i fist bumped each other all proud that our plan worked.
Then Vanessa started to tear up.
"Dont cry." I smile as i hug her.
"I dont deserve this." She sniffled.
"You're right. You deserve more." I sighed.
"Thank you so much." She hugged me so tight.

A couple days later Vanessa's pov
"Wow mama! Look at that fish!" Ryder said pointing to a bright neon fish.
"Wowww." I say as i watch it swim. Lucky ass knows how to swim.
"Papa!" Ryder said grabbing his dads hand.
"Look at the fishy." Ryder said showing him the same fish.
"Wow papas he looks like a cool fish." Oscar grinned.
"How do you know its a boy?" Ryder raised his brow at his dad.
"Uhhh. I dont actually know." Oscar laughed.
Ryder just shrugged and walked away to explore more of the aquarium.
I watched as both him and Julianna roam around.
They were having a field trip at the aquarium and of course Oscar and i came to be chaperones.
"Oscar look i found Patrick." I giggle as i point at a starfish.
"How do you know that aint Patricia?" Oscar teased.
"Shut up." I laugh.
I just watched as Ryder interacted with the other kids in his class.
Many months ago the teacher told us nobody wanted to be his friend. And now he got so many friends. And they are all mostly girls but some were little boys. Like wow okay then.
My son better not be breaking any hearts.
"Well isn't he popular." Vincent laughed.
"Aww he has so many girls surrounding him." Alisha smiled. "But he's only paying attention to Julianna. How cute." Alisha nudged Vincent.
We all laughed except for Vincent. He didnt like the idea of Julianna and Ryder dating because obviously Julianna is his princess but i mean come on.

"I thought Armando wanted to come." Oscar stuffed his hands in his pocket as we walked around the aquarium.
"He wanted to but he had to deal with work." I sighed.
"How busy can he be by being a personal trainer?" Oscar laughed.
"Very busy i guess. He has hella clients." I shrug.
"Ohh shit my bad." Oscar laughed.
"Yeah he's been busy this whole week. Pobrecito is stressed." I pouted. "I only see him in the morning."
"You guys good?" Oscar raised his brow.
"Yeah. Just haven't got a chance to hang." I sighed.
"Awwww you miss him."
"Well no shit." I laugh.
He just laughed.
"So how about you?" I ask him as he shook his head.
"Im not talking to anyone." He shook his head.
"Thats the first." I laugh.
"Damn Vanessa is being shady." Vincent laughed.
